Plumbing Picks participates in the Amazon Services LLC Associates Program. As an Amazon Associate, we earn from qualifying purchases. When you click our links and make a purchase, we may receive a commission at no additional cost to you. We only recommend products we genuinely believe in.
Information We Collect
If you sign up for email, we collect your email address. Our earlier handbook sign-up form also asked for an optional first name. We use them only to send you Plumbing Picks emails. We do not sell them.
Addresses entered in our newsletter forms are sent to Hostinger Reach, the email marketing service from Hostinger, our web host. Reach stores them and is the service we use to send email. Addresses from the earlier handbook form are stored in this site’s own database.
To unsubscribe, use the unsubscribe link in any email from us, or write to isaac (at) plumbingpicks.com and we will delete your address.
We use Google Analytics to see which pages are read and which product links are clicked. It records things like pages visited, links clicked, browser and device type, and approximate location. It is not set up to collect your name or email address.
We also use Microsoft Clarity to see how visitors use our pages, such as clicks, scrolling and how far people read, so we can make the pages easier to use. Clarity records these actions and uses cookies to do it. It is not set up to collect your name or email address. Microsoft’s privacy statement (privacy.microsoft.com) explains how it handles this data.
Cookies
This site and some third parties use cookies. Google Analytics and Microsoft Clarity use cookies to count visits and see how pages are used. This site does not currently show display ads from Google AdSense or other ad networks. You can opt out of personalized advertising in Google Ads Settings (google.com), or opt out of some other vendors’ ad cookies at www.aboutads.info (aboutads.info).
Third parties, including Amazon and other advertisers, may serve content and ads, collect information directly from visitors, and place or recognize cookies in your browser. When you follow one of our links to Amazon, Amazon may use cookies to credit us for qualifying purchases.
You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. Some site features may not work without them.
Third-Party Links
This site contains links to third-party websites, including Amazon.com. We are not responsible for the privacy practices or content of those sites. We encourage you to review the privacy policies of any third-party sites you visit.
Contact
For privacy questions, or to have your email address deleted, write to isaac (at) plumbingpicks.com.
Your choices
You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, and most browsers let you turn on “Do Not Track” or block third-party cookies entirely. Google offers a browser add-on that stops Google Analytics from recording your visits. Blocking cookies does not stop you from reading any page on this site. If you joined our email list, every email includes an unsubscribe link, and you can also ask us to delete your address using the contact details below.
Children
This site is written for adults and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
