Skip it if
You want warm water. The NEO 320 is the same body with a hot connection, if your sink is close enough.
The LUXE NEO 185 is the attachment I’d put on most toilets. It scores 9.0, one point behind the NEO 320, and the only check it misses is warm water. For a lot of homes that’s a fair trade, because cold water means one connection at the tank and nothing run from the sink.
You get two nozzles. LUXE’s manual says the rear wash is the stronger spray and the feminine wash is a softer one aimed further forward. A second dial picks rear, feminine or nozzle clean, and the first one sets the pressure.
The nozzles are why it scores full marks on protection. They extend only while you’re using it and pull back behind a guard gate after each wash, and the nozzle-clean setting runs fresh water over them. LUXE’s FAQ says the gate stays closed during use and can be opened by hand to clean the tips.
This is the part a plumber looks at first: what touches the supply. LUXE’s manual lists a 7/8 × 1/2 in. metal T-adapter, a 1/2 × 1/4 in. metal braided hose 15 in. long, and a metal-ceramic valve. It rates the unit for 50 ± 20 psi, so 30 to 70, and lists ASME A112.18.1/CSA and A112.4.2 certifications.
Before you order, check the line from the wall to the tank. LUXE says the bidet can’t go on a rigid pipe, so a stiff chrome tube has to become a flexible hose first. Our installation guide covers that and the seat.
The warranty is 18 months on LUXE’s warranty page for every NEO model, and registering the LUXE ID code printed on the unit adds 6 months. Keep your Amazon order email; LUXE asks for an order number on a claim.
My call: the default pick for a standard two-piece toilet. I’ve used it, and the dual-nozzle dial is simple enough that nobody in the house needs a lesson.

Buy it if
There’s a bathroom sink with a hot shutoff valve within about 10 ft of hose of your toilet, and you want a warm wash without running a cord.
Skip it if
Your toilet is in its own small room with no sink beside it. Without a hot line in reach, the NEO 185 does the same job cold.
The LUXE NEO 320 is the NEO 185 with a second water line. It’s the only pick here with warm water, and with it the NEO 320 scores a full 10 on our five checks. It doesn’t heat anything. It mixes water from your sink’s hot supply into the wash, so it needs no outlet.
The hot side is a second T-adapter. LUXE’s manual lists a 3/8 in. × 8 mm metal T-adapter that goes on the hot valve under your sink, and a 10 ft polyurethane hose that runs from there to the bidet. That 10 ft is the limit to measure before you order: from the sink’s hot valve, along the floor or wall, to the right side of the toilet.
The cold side is the same as the 185: a 7/8 × 1/2 in. metal T-adapter at the tank fill valve and a 15 in. metal braided hose. The manual’s assembled drawing also shows a metal T-adapter with a shut-off on the cold side. The valve is metal-ceramic and the rating is 50 ± 20 psi.
One lever runs from cold to hot, and a dial picks rear, feminine or nozzle clean. LUXE’s FAQ says the nozzle-clean mode on the 320 uses whatever temperature you’ve set. Like every NEO, the nozzles retract behind a guard gate after each wash.
A note on the paperwork. The spec table in the NEO 320 manual says “Single-nozzle”, but the feature page of the same manual, LUXE’s product page, its FAQ and the Amazon listing all describe dual nozzles for rear and feminine washes. I scored it as dual, the way LUXE sells it.
Warm water has a practical catch: it’s only as warm as the hot line. If your water heater is at the far end of the house, the first few seconds are cold until the hot water reaches the sink. The warranty is the same 18 months as every NEO, plus 6 when you register the LUXE ID.
My call: buy it when the sink is right there and someone in the house wants warm water. I’ve used it, and it’s the simplest step up from a cold-only unit before you get into electric seats.

Your water pressure is low, like on some well systems, or high, or you’re not sure; or your seat sits close to the bowl and you want the thinnest frame here.

You want the longest warranty in writing. Brondell gives 1 year; LUXE gives 18 months.
The Brondell SimpleSpa Thinline SS-250 earns its spot on one number. Brondell’s spec sheet rates it for supply pressure from 11.06 to 116.03 psi. The two LUXE units list 50 ± 20, so 30 to 70 psi. If your house is at either end of that, this is the one built for it.
Why would pressure be odd? Homes on a well run on a pressure tank and switch, and some city homes run high. Our low water pressure guide shows how to check yours with a gauge on a hose bib. A reading under 30 psi or over 70 is outside what LUXE lists.
The frame is 0.2 in. thick, which Brondell says keeps the seat level and closes the gap a thicker attachment can leave. That matters on seats with a tight fit to the bowl. The control is a side-arm knob that turns for pressure and picks the front or rear nozzle.
The nozzles are self-cleaning and retract when you’re done, so it scores full marks on protection. Brondell lists an on-demand self-cleaning rinse and says the nozzles retract to stay clean between uses. Spray is ambient, room-temperature water, and Brondell rates the flow at 0.66 gallons per minute.
The plumbing parts are the strongest on paper. The spec sheet lists an all-metal 7/8 in. T-valve (7/8 × 7/8 × 3/8 in.), a 27.8 in. braided-metal hose with 3/8 in. connections, and a SafeCore ceramic internal valve. That hose is almost twice the LUXE cold hose, so you have more room to route it.
Where it loses points is the warranty. Brondell’s product page and spec sheet both list a 1-year limited warranty, against LUXE’s 18 months. Brondell also lists an inlet temperature range of 40 to 104°F, so it’s for the cold line only.
My call: the pick when your pressure is outside LUXE’s range or you want the slimmest frame. I’ve used it, and the side-arm knob is easy to find without looking.

Why pressure first? Each maker rates its valve for a range, and the two brands here are far apart: LUXE lists 50 ± 20 psi for both NEO units, Brondell lists 11 to 116 for the SS-250. Outside a valve’s range, the spray can run weak or come on too hard to dial in.

What water pressure each attachment is rated for
Every attachment runs on your house pressure, with nothing to boost it. Each maker lists the range it’s built for.

Too little pressure gives a weak spray, and too much gives one that’s hard to dial down. LUXE’s manual covers the high end: if the flow is too strong, turn the supply valve down, or add LUXE’s metal T-adapter with its own shut-off to cut the flow into the bidet.
You can check your pressure in two minutes with a screw-on gauge at an outdoor faucet. If it reads over 80, the International Plumbing Code (section 604.8) calls for a pressure-reducing valve, and that’s the fix, not the bidet; see best water pressure regulator. A T-adapter is a tee that threads onto the bottom of your toilet’s fill valve. The supply hose goes on one side and the bidet hose on the other, so the tank and the bidet share the same line. The 7/8 in. size is the standard ballcock thread on a toilet tank, which is why every pick uses it.
Why care if it’s metal? My call as a plumber: a plastic tee is one more plastic thread under constant pressure behind the toilet, where a slow drip is easy to miss. A metal one and a braided hose are the same build we expect on any toilet supply line. If you already have a plastic tee from another bidet, replace it rather than reuse it.

A second nozzle is worth it in a shared bathroom. LUXE says the feminine wash is gentler than the rear spray and helps during periods and for expecting mothers, and its FAQ adds that both can be used by anyone. The NEO 120, LUXE’s best seller, has only the rear nozzle; the NEO 185 is the same body with the second one added.
Retracting nozzles plus a rinse is the standard to look for. A nozzle that stays down in the bowl takes the splash every time you flush. If a nozzle sticks later, LUXE’s manual says hard-water buildup is the usual reason and suggests wrapping it in a paper towel soaked in vinegar.

The hose has to leave the cabinet, so plan for a small hole in the side of the vanity or a neat run under the door. Keep it off the floor where a mop or a foot can catch it. Brondell’s SS-250 lists an inlet range of 40 to 104°F, so never tee a cold-only unit into a hot line.

LUXE’s page says new, factory-sealed NEO units are covered for 18 months by default, and that it replaces defective parts free of charge. Register the 15-character LUXE ID printed on the unit and it adds 6 months. Brondell’s SS-250 carries a 1-year limited warranty. TUSHY’s FAQ lists a 12-month warranty on equipment and parts.
Bio Bidet’s SlimEdge manual gives a 1-year limited warranty from the date of purchase, with Bemis named as the warrantor. In every case, keep your order email; a claim starts with proof of when you bought it.

The TUSHY is the name most people know, and the old version of this page picked it. It’s a good single-nozzle unit. On our checks it loses points because TUSHY doesn’t publish what the adapter and hose are made of, and its warranty is 12 months. If you already own one and it works, keep it.
The NEO 120 is the same body as our top pick with one nozzle instead of two. For a single user who only wants a rear wash, it’s a fine buy; it just can’t reach 7.0 on a formula that also rewards a second nozzle and stated hardware.

What is the best bidet attachment?
On our spec score, the LUXE NEO 320 (10.0) if you have a sink nearby for warm water, and the LUXE NEO 185 (9.0) for most toilets. The Brondell SS-250 (8.0) is the pick for very low or high water pressure.
Do bidet attachments fit every toilet?
Most two-piece toilets with a tank and a flexible supply hose. A rigid supply pipe needs a flexible hose first, and a tankless toilet with a flush valve has no fill valve to tee into. Seats with outer hinge tabs or a curved underside may need bumpers.
Do non-electric bidets give warm water?
Only models with a hot connection, like the LUXE NEO 320. It tees into the hot valve under your sink and runs a 10 ft hose to the toilet, so the sink has to be close.
What size is a bidet T-adapter?
