For the slimmest look, pick the American Standard AquaWash Slim (2-3/16 inches tall). For front and rear washes with a 1-1/2-inch minimum tank clearance, pick the Kohler PureWash M300. For unusual bolt spacing, pick the Brondell EcoSeat S101 (5.5 to 8 inches). None needs an outlet, but all wash with cold supply water.

A non-electric bidet seat replaces your toilet seat and sprays water from the toilet’s supply line. With no heater, the water is as warm as your cold supply, so it feels colder in winter. The payoff is simple installation with no outlet near the toilet.
American Standard AquaWash Slim: the thinnest seat
Choose the AquaWash Slim if you want the lowest-profile seat here. The 8033A65G spec sheet (lixil.cdn.celum.cloud) lists adjustable spray volume, independent self-cleaning dual nozzles, a nozzle shutter, a slow-close seat and lid, one-push seat removal, removable nozzle tips, and a 2-3/16-inch seat height. It ships with mounting hardware, a water supply hose and the seat, and AS lists a T-valve and hose as replacement parts.
On October 15, 2026, the standard new offer sold by Amazon.com showed stock with model 8033A65G.020.

Kohler PureWash M300: front and rear with a slim lever
Choose the Kohler PureWash M300 for separate front and rear washes and a small tank clearance. The K-98804 spec sheet (resources.kohler.com) lists a dual-function wand, a side lever for pressure, a self-cleaning wand, Quiet-Close seat and lid, Quick-Release removal and Grip-Tight bumpers, and says it needs only 1-1/2 inches from the mounting-hole centerline to the tank.
Kohler says to connect only to a cold drinking-quality supply at 20 to 80 psi and warns against supply water above 104°F. On October 15, 2026, the standard new offer sold by Amazon.com showed limited stock with model 98804-0.

Kohler PureWash M250: simple single wand
Choose the Kohler PureWash M250 for the simplest control: one side handle sets spray position and pressure. The K-5724 spec sheet (resources.kohler.com) lists a single self-cleaning wand, Quiet-Close seat and lid, Quick-Release and Quick-Attach hardware, and Grip-Tight bumpers. Its drawing shows a 17-11/16-inch overall width with the handle and a 13-1/4-inch minimum from the mounting-hole center to a side wall on the handle side, so it is the widest seat here.

Brondell EcoSeat S101: widest bolt spacing range
Choose the Brondell EcoSeat S101 if your toilet’s bolt holes are not standard. The S101 spec sheet (store-mpfo2gcqca.mybigcommerce.com) lists dual self-cleaning retractable nozzles, separate front and rear washes, an easy-turn pressure knob, a quick-release button, a gentle-close seat and lid, and a 330-pound seat limit. It lists bolt-hole spacing from 5.5 to 8 inches, wider than the 5-1/2-inch spacing the Kohler sheets list.
Brondell lists an incoming water range of 35 to 100°F, a 3/8-inch bidet hose connection, and a 7/8 × 7/8 × 3/8-inch cold-water T-valve. On October 15, 2026, the standard new offer from Healthy Homestore, whose Amazon seller page lists the business name Brondell Inc., showed stock.

Which one fits your toilet
Measure three things. First, the bowl shape: every seat linked here is elongated. Second, the bolt-hole spacing: the Kohler and American Standard sheets show 5-1/2 inches, and the Brondell lists 5.5 to 8 inches. Third, the space between the bolt holes and the tank: Kohler lists at least 1-1/2 inches for the M300 and 2-1/8 inches for the M250, and Brondell lists at least 1.5 inches for the S101.
Also check side clearance if a wall or vanity sits beside the toilet, since side handles and levers stick out. Kohler’s M250 drawing, for example, shows 17-11/16 inches across with the handle and a 13-1/4-inch minimum from the mounting-hole center to the side wall on the handle side; the M300 lists 16-3/16 inches across with its lever. If your toilet sits tight against a wall on the handle side, measure that gap before you order. Our toilet seat size guide and round vs elongated guide show how to measure.
Seat or attachment?
A non-electric seat replaces your seat and lid. A bidet attachment mounts under your existing seat and leaves that seat in place. Our bidet attachment guide covers attachments. If you want warm water and a heated seat and have an outlet, see our TOTO Washlet and Bio Bidet guides.
Installing a non-electric seat
Cleaning and care
The sheets list features that make cleaning easier: self-cleaning or rinsing nozzles on all four, removable nozzle tips and a nozzle shutter on the AquaWash Slim, Quick-Release removal on both Kohler seats, a one-push removable seat on the AquaWash Slim, and a quick-release button on the Brondell. Lift the seat off now and then to clean the bowl rim and hinge area, and wipe the nozzle area with a soft cloth rather than abrasive cleaners.
Shut off the toilet stop, flush to empty the tank, and disconnect the supply line from the fill valve. The American Standard and Brondell sheets list a T-valve connection that splits the supply between the toilet and the seat, and Kohler says all hoses and connections are included. Replace a stiff or leaking stop first; our shutoff valve guide covers options. Follow the maker’s installation guide, then turn the water on slowly and check every connection for drips.
Frequently asked questions

Which non-electric bidet seat is thinnest?
The American Standard AquaWash Slim lists a 2-3/16-inch seat height.
