All three are solid copper, single-bowl kitchen sinks, 30 to 33 in. wide. Scored on the same ten checks from the makers’ product pages, spec sheets, warranty and care pages, read Oct 24, 2026. I’ve used these picks.

Which copper sink fits your cabinet
Pick your mount and cabinet width. The checker reads each maker’s minimum cabinet or countertop depth from its spec sheet.
The cabinet decides more than the look. Sinkology lists a 33 in. minimum cabinet for the 30 in. Orwell and 36 in. for the 33 in. Angelico. Premier doesn’t give a cabinet width for the KSDB33199; it gives a 22 in. countertop depth, front to back, and an outer size of 33 by 19 in.
My call: if you’re replacing a sink in an existing 33 in. base, start with the Orwell. If your counter already has a drop-in cutout and a 36 in. base under it, the Angelico is the one that drops in without new countertops.

You want the thickest copper and every spec in writing, and you can mount it under or on the counter.

You want a drain in the box; Premier sells it separately.
The KSDB33199 is my top pick, and I’ve used it. It scored 10.0, the only sink here to pass all ten checks.
Premier’s product page lists it as a 33 in. hammered copper single basin sink: 33 by 19 by 9 in. outside, 31 by 17 by 9 in. inside. It mounts under the counter or on the surface, and needs a 22 in. countertop depth, front to back. The Amazon UPC, 813584010613, matches the gtin on Premier’s page.
Thickness is where it leads. Premier lists the material gauge as 14 gauge, or 0.0625 in., and calls that “industry best.” Sinkology’s sinks here are 16 and 17 gauge; a lower gauge number is thicker metal.
Premier is also the only maker here that publishes what the metal is: 99.7% pure recycled copper, lead free at less than 0.01%. It lists the sink as IAPMO / cUPC listed.
For the plumbing side, Premier lists a 3.5 in. drain opening and says a garbage disposal is OK. The drain is sold separately, and Premier names its D-130ORB and D-132ORB drains for this sink. Faucets mount on the counter deck, since the sink has no faucet holes.
The finish is Premier’s oil rubbed bronze, a fired patina, so it starts dark rather than bright. Premier’s care page says acidic cleaners and foods can strip the patina, and its FAQ says waxing helps keep the finish.
Premier’s warranty page gives sinks a Lifetime Limited Warranty for the original purchaser, covering defects in materials and workmanship under normal residential use. Its FAQ says the warranty doesn’t cover the natural aging and patina of the copper. The Amazon listing says it’s handcrafted in Mexico; Premier’s page says only that it’s hand made.

You have a 33 in. sink base and want an undermount copper sink.

You want the purity and lead content in writing; Sinkology doesn’t publish them.
The Orwell 30 scored 8.0, and I’ve used it. It missed two checks: Sinkology doesn’t publish the copper’s purity or its lead content.
Sinkology’s spec sheet lists the SK202-30AC as an undermount sink, 30 by 18 by 8 in. outside, with a 28 by 16 by 8 in. bowl. It weighs 24 lb, has a 3.5 in. center drain and no faucet holes, and Sinkology recommends at least a 33 in. cabinet.
It’s the thickest Sinkology sink here: hand-hammered, solid 16-gauge copper, per the sheet. The other two Sinkology sinks I checked are 17 gauge.
The sheet lists an IAPMO R&T product listing, file number 5800, compliance with the Uniform Plumbing Code and the National Plumbing Code of Canada, and certification to CSA B45.12-13/IAPMO Z402-2013 (R2018).
For a disposal, Sinkology recommends its SinkSense disposal drain flange, TD35-01, in antique copper, and its basket strainer, TB35-01, for sinks without one. Neither is in the box with this listing; the sheet lists the sink alone as the included product.
Sinkology’s sheet says sound dampening pads reduce dish clatter, noise and vibrations, and that the antique copper finish is aged to a medium-to-light tone. The sheet marks it as a pro installation and points to install steps in the BILT app.
Sinkology’s Everyday Promise is a lifetime warranty that covers all Sinkology products. Its warranty page says claims go to the original store or to Sinkology directly, and that Sinkology isn’t responsible for installation costs.
Sinkology’s copper collection also lists the Orwell in 23 in. and 17 in. sizes, and a 32 in. double bowl. If your cabinet is smaller than 33 in., one of those is the place to look, though I haven’t scored them here.

Buy it if
You’re swapping a drop-in sink and want copper without replacing the countertop.
Skip it if
Your sink base is 33 in.; Sinkology lists 36 in. for this one.
The Angelico 33 scored 7.0, and I’ve used it. It missed three checks: it’s 17 gauge, and Sinkology doesn’t publish purity or lead content.
Sinkology’s spec sheet lists the SK101-33AC as a drop-in sink, 33 by 22 by 8 in. outside, with a 31 by 17 by 8 in. bowl. It weighs 28 lb, has a 3.5 in. center drain and three pre-drilled faucet holes, and needs at least a 36 in. cabinet.
Drop-in is the reason to pick it. Sinkology says the drop-in style makes for an easy DIY retrofit job, and its product page says it installs without a complicated installation. The rim sits on the counter, so an existing cutout can take it if the size matches.
My call: measure your old cutout and the sink’s outer size before you order. A drop-in rim covers small gaps, but it can’t cover a cutout that’s bigger than the sink.
The sheet lists the same IAPMO R&T listing, file 5800, as the Orwell, with Uniform Plumbing Code compliance and certification to CSA B45.12-13/IAPMO Z402-2013 (R2018). It recommends the same TD35-01 disposal flange and TB35-01 strainer.
Sinkology also sells a 4-hole version, SK101-33AC-4, if you want a side sprayer or soap dispenser hole. This page links the 3-hole sink.
Like every Sinkology product, it’s covered by the Everyday Promise lifetime warranty. Sinkology’s care page says to rinse after use and use mild dish soap, and it sells its Copper Care IQ kit (SARMOR-101) for the patina.
Its spec sheet also lists the same shape in brushed stainless steel, SK703-33HSB, and Sinkology’s collection lists 25 in. and 15 in. Angelico sizes in copper. The 33 in. copper version is the one scored and linked here.
The Premier and the Angelico have the same 31 by 17 in. bowl footprint, but the Premier’s bowl is an inch deeper at 9 in. The Orwell is the compact one, with a 28 by 16 in. bowl in a sink that fits a 33 in. base.
My call: pick by mount first. The thickness and published specs only matter once you know the sink will go in your counter and cabinet.

Premier publishes the metal’s purity and its lead content; Sinkology doesn’t, on its product pages or spec sheets. That’s two of the ten checks, and it’s most of the gap between the Premier and the two Sinkology sinks.
Both makers publish a plumbing listing. Sinkology names the standard, CSA B45.12-13/IAPMO Z402-2013 (R2018), and an IAPMO R&T file number, 5800. Premier lists the sink as IAPMO / cUPC listed on its product page.

What the maker says
14
Premier KSDB33199
“Industry Best (14 Gauge or .0625″)”
16
Sinkology Orwell 30
“Hand-hammered, solid 16-gauge copper”
17
Sinkology Angelico 33, Lange 32
“Hand-hammered, solid 17-gauge copper”
A lower gauge number means thicker metal. Premier gives its 14 gauge as 0.0625 in., which is 1/16 in.; Sinkology doesn’t give an inch figure for 16 or 17 gauge. Sinkology’s planning article says copper can still scratch or dent if heavy or sharp objects are dropped in, whatever the thickness.
Thicker copper weighs more, which matters for an undermount sink hung from the counter. Sinkology lists 24 lb for the Orwell and 28 lb for the Angelico. Premier doesn’t list a weight. My call: use the mounting clips or a sink support rated for the sink, and follow the maker’s install steps.

Drain advice
Premier
3.5 in.
Drain sold separately; D-130ORB or D-132ORB suggested; garbage disposal OK
Sinkology
3.5 in. (center)
TB35-01 basket strainer or TD35-01 disposal flange, both antique copper
All three sinks use the standard 3.5 in. kitchen drain opening, so a standard basket strainer or disposal flange fits the hole. None of the three listings here includes a drain. Plan for one, and pick a finish that matches the bowl: Premier names oil rubbed bronze drains, and Sinkology names antique copper ones.
My call: set the drain flange in putty or silicone exactly as the drain maker’s instructions say, then run water and check the seal from below before you load the cabinet back up. Premier suggests its C900-ORB copper sink installation silicone as an accessory.
Caring for the patina
Do or avoid
Premier says
Sinkology says
Daily
Rinse with warm water after use; dry with a soft towel
Rinse after every use
Cleaner
Mild soap and water, soft cloth; FAQ: avoid soaps with lemon or citrus scents
Patina Restoration Kit; FAQ: the patina begins growing back with normal use
Care IQ kit can buff out marks
Both makers say the same thing in different words: copper is a living finish. Acids like citrus, vinegar and ketchup cause temporary discoloration, and both say the spots blend back in with normal use. Premier’s FAQ says copper resists most stains because it’s non-porous.
Sinkology’s care page suggests a bottom grid to keep heavy pans off the copper and reduce scratches. Its spec sheets name a grid for each sink. My call: get the grid if you cook with cast iron, since the hammered bowl shows every scrape.
Undermount or drop-in: what the install takes
Undermount (Orwell, Premier)
Drop-in (Angelico, Premier surface mount)
Counter
Solid surface cut to the bowl; sink hangs below
Cutout under the rim; rim rests on the counter
Maker install note
Sinkology marks the Orwell as pro installation
Sinkology calls the Angelico an easy DIY retrofit
Weight to support
Orwell 24 lb, per Sinkology
Angelico 28 lb, per Sinkology
Faucet
Deck mount on the counter (no holes in the sink)
Angelico has 3 holes; Premier mounts on the deck
Install steps
Sinkology: BILT app; Premier: instructions included
Same sources
Premier’s FAQ says copper sinks generally install the same way as stainless or porcelain sinks, and that full installation instructions come with each purchase. It recommends professional installation for heavier items, naming bathtubs and larger range hoods. Sinkology points to step-by-step install instructions in the BILT app for each of its sinks.
My call: an undermount sink hangs from the countertop and leaves the cut edge showing, so it needs a solid counter like stone that can be finished at the edge. A drop-in rim covers the cut, so if your counter is laminate, a drop-in copper sink is the realistic choice.

Two of the three sinks have no faucet holes at all, so the faucet, any sprayer and a soap dispenser go through the countertop. Plan the holes with the countertop maker before it’s cut. The Angelico’s three holes fit a three-hole faucet, or a single-hole faucet with a deck plate.
Sinkology’s 4-hole Angelico adds a spot for a side sprayer, soap dispenser or air gap. My call: if you run a dishwasher air gap or a filtered water tap, count those holes before you choose between the 3-hole and 4-hole version.

Premier’s warranty page also says slight variations in finish, texture and tone are expected in handcrafted pieces and aren’t defects, and its KASDB33229 spec sheet says not to make any installation cuts until you receive your item. That second point matters for an undermount sink, since the counter is cut to the bowl.
My call: unbox and measure the sink before the countertop fabricator cuts anything, and keep the packaging until it’s installed and draining well.

No maker spec sheet to check
The Lange is a good-looking farmhouse sink, and Sinkology’s page says it fits a 36 in. base. On the same ten checks it reaches 6.0, under the 7.0 floor every pick has to meet, mainly because its spec sheet has no code listing and it’s 17 gauge.
Start with the mount and the cabinet, then the gauge, then what the maker publishes. A copper sink lasts as long as the cabinet under it, so the fit matters more than the hammer pattern.
Ask for the spec sheet before you buy any copper sink. If a seller can’t tell you the gauge or show a code listing, you can’t check what you’re getting.
