Elkay Dayton D125223: a common 25 x 22 replacement
Choose the Dayton D125223 for a basic 25 by 22-inch, three-hole replacement. Elkay’s D12522 spec sheet (elkayfiles.com) lists 22-gauge 300-series stainless steel with a satin finish, a 25 by 22 by 6-9/16-inch sink, a 21 by 15-3/4 by 6-3/8-inch bowl, a 3-1/2-inch center drain and pads on the bottom only.
It lists a 30-inch minimum cabinet, a 24-3/8 by 21-3/8-inch cutout, mounting hardware for counters up to 3/4 inch thick, and ADA and ICC A117.1 compliance when installed as specified. The D125223 is the three-hole version. On October 15, 2026, the standard new offer sold by Amazon.com was in stock with model D125223.

Sterling Middleton 14631-4: four holes, 20-gauge
Choose the Middleton for a 25 by 22-inch sink with four holes for a faucet plus a sprayer or soap dispenser. Sterling’s spec sheet (resources.kohler.com) lists 20-gauge stainless steel with a luster finish, top-mount installation, four faucet holes on 4-inch centers, a 6-inch depth and a 3-5/8-inch drain opening, with installation clips included.
It lists a 24-1/2 by 21-1/2-inch cutout and ADA and ICC/ANSI A117.1 compliance when installed to those requirements, with a recommended ADA installation drawing. Elkay Lustertone LR20223: narrow 24-inch cabinet
Choose the LR20223 for a small kitchen with a 24-inch base cabinet. Elkay’s LR2022 spec sheet (elkayfiles.com) lists 18-gauge 304 stainless steel with a lustrous satin finish, a 19-1/2 by 22 by 7-5/8-inch sink, a 16 by 16 by 7-1/2-inch bowl and a 3-1/2-inch center drain.
It lists a 24-inch minimum cabinet, the smallest here, an 18-7/8 by 21-3/8-inch cutout and mounting hardware for counters up to 3/4 inch thick. The LR20223 is the three-hole version. On October 15, 2026, the standard new offer sold by TerraTree showed limited stock with model LR20223.

Elkay Lustertone DLRS3322101: 10 inches deep
Choose the DLRS3322101 for a large, deep single bowl in a 36-inch cabinet. Elkay’s DLRS332210 spec sheet (elkayfiles.com) lists 18-gauge 304 stainless steel with a lustrous satin finish, a 33 by 22 by 10-1/8-inch sink, a 28 by 16 by 10-inch bowl, a 3-1/2-inch center drain, and pads on the sides and bottom.

Kohler Mayfield K-5964-4: cast iron, four holes
Choose the Mayfield for an enameled cast iron sink that fits a standard 25 by 22-inch opening. Kohler’s spec sheet (resources.kohler.com) lists enameled cast iron, top-mount installation, a 25 by 22-inch size, a 22 by 15-inch bowl 7-3/4 inches deep, three faucet holes plus one accessory hole on 4-inch centers, and a 3-5/8-inch drain hole.
It lists a 27-inch minimum cabinet and a 23-3/4 by 20-3/4-inch cutout, which is smaller than the other two 25 by 22-inch sinks’ cutouts here. On October 15, 2026, the standard new offer sold by Build.com was in stock with model K-5964-4-0, white.

Kohler Iron/Tones K-5708: top-mount or undermount
Choose the Iron/Tones if you want cast iron with the option to undermount later. Kohler’s spec sheet (resources.kohler.com) lists enameled cast iron, top-mount or undermount installation, a 27 by 18-3/4-inch size, a 24-5/16 by 16-1/16-inch bowl 9 inches deep, and a 3-7/8-inch drain hole. There are no faucet holes, so the faucet mounts through the counter.
It lists a 30-inch minimum cabinet, an included cut-out template that Kohler says the counter cutter must use, and an undermount kit as a separate accessory. Replacing an old drop-in sink
The new sink’s rim has to cover the old hole, so measure the cutout in the counter. The 25 by 22-inch sinks here list different cutouts: 24-3/8 by 21-3/8 inches on the Elkay Dayton, 24-1/2 by 21-1/2 on the Sterling and 23-3/4 by 20-3/4 on the Kohler Mayfield. If your hole is larger than a sink’s listed cutout by more than its rim overlap, choose another or have the counter repaired. Stainless gauge and cast iron
Steel gauge runs backward: 18-gauge is thicker than 20, which is thicker than 22. The two Elkay Lustertone sinks are 18-gauge, the Sterling is 20 and the Dayton is 22. Enameled cast iron comes in colors; Kohler lists 11 colors for the Iron/Tones and three for the Mayfield. Kohler and Sterling list lifetime limited warranties on these sinks and point to their websites for details; Elkay links a separate warranty document from each sheet.
Drains and accessories
Elkay lists 3-1/2-inch drain openings, Sterling and the Kohler Mayfield list 3-5/8 inches, and the Iron/Tones lists 3-7/8 inches.
