A double bowl sink splits the basin in two, so you can soak pans on one side and rinse on the other. The splits differ: equal halves on the Elkay, a larger and a smaller bowl on the other three. Kraus KHU103-33: deepest bowls, 16-gauge
Choose the KHU103-33 for undermount and the deepest bowls here. Kraus’s spec sheet (kraususa.com) lists 16-gauge stainless steel, a handmade double bowl undermount design with a 60/40 split, a 32-3/4 by 19-inch outside size, bowls of 16-7/8 by 17 inches and 12-7/8 by 17 inches, and a 10-inch depth.
The sheet lists rear center-set drains with 3-1/2-inch openings, NoiseDefend undercoating and sound dampening pads, and includes two basket strainers, two bottom grids, a cut-out template and mounting hardware. On October 15, 2026, the standard new offer sold by Amazon.com was in stock with model KHU103-33.

Kraus KBU24: offset bowls, 18-gauge
Choose the KBU24 for an undermount sink with one deep and one shallow bowl. Kraus’s spec sheet (kraususa.com) lists 18-gauge stainless steel, a pressed double bowl undermount design, a 32 by 20-5/8-inch outside size, a larger 15-3/4 by 18-3/4-inch bowl 8-1/2 inches deep and a smaller 13 by 16-1/2-inch bowl 6-1/2 inches deep.
It lists rear center-set drains with 3-1/2-inch openings, NoiseDefend undercoating and sound dampening pads, and includes two strainers, a cut-out template and mounting hardware. Bottom grids are not on its included list. On October 15, 2026, the standard new offer sold by Amazon.com showed limited stock with model KBU24.

Kohler Verse K-75791-1: top-mount or undermount
Choose the Verse if you have not decided between drop-in and undermount. Kohler’s spec sheet (resources.kohler.com) lists 18-gauge stainless steel, top-mount or undermount installation, large and medium bowls, a 9-inch depth and a single faucet hole, with installation hardware included.
The technical table lists a 33 by 22-inch sink, a left bowl 14-3/16 by 18-7/16 inches and a right bowl 14-3/16 by 15-11/16 inches, both 9 inches deep, a 1-7/16-inch faucet hole and a 3-3/4-inch drain hole. Elkay Lustertone LR33225: equal bowls, drop-in
Choose the Lustertone for a drop-in replacement with two equal bowls. Elkay’s LR3322 spec sheet (elkayfiles.com) lists 18-gauge 304 stainless steel with a lustrous satin finish, a 33 by 22 by 8-1/8-inch sink with two bowls each 13-1/2 by 16 by 7-3/4 inches, center drains of 3-1/2 inches, and sound deadening pads on the sides and bottom.
It lists a 32-3/8 by 21-3/8-inch cutout with 1-1/2-inch corner radius, mounting hardware for countertops up to 3/4 inch thick, and notes that the template is not included and is a CAD download. Equal or offset: which split?
An equal split, like the Elkay, gives two bowls of the same size. An offset split, like the Kraus 60/40 and the Kohler large/medium, gives you one bowl wide enough for a sheet pan and a smaller one for rinsing or a disposal. On the KBU24 the small bowl is also shallower, 6-1/2 inches against 8-1/2. If you wash large pots, check the larger bowl’s width in the table rather than the overall sink size.
Mounting and countertops
Undermount sinks, like both Kraus models, hang below a solid countertop such as stone or quartz, so the counter edge is exposed. Drop-in sinks rest on top of the counter by their rim, so they are a common choice for laminate. The Kohler Verse can go either way. Elkay lists hardware for counters up to 3/4 inch thick on the Lustertone, so check this first if your countertop is thicker. Kraus and Kohler include a cut-out template; Elkay offers its template as a CAD download, so plan to print it to scale before cutting a new counter.
Measuring for a replacement
When you replace a drop-in sink, the new one has to cover the old cutout. Measure the hole in the counter, not the old sink rim. Elkay lists a 32-3/8 by 21-3/8-inch cutout for the Lustertone; if your opening is larger, the rim may not cover it. For an undermount swap, the new sink should be close to the old one’s size, because the counter edge is finished around it: the Kraus KHU103-33 measures 32-3/4 by 19 inches and the KBU24 32 by 20-5/8 inches outside.

Drains, faucets and disposals
Every sink here has two drains, one per bowl. Kraus and Elkay list 3-1/2-inch drain openings; Kohler lists a 3-3/4-inch drain hole. Kraus includes strainers; for the Kohler, add strainers such as those in our basket strainer guide. The two Kraus sinks have no faucet holes, so the faucet mounts through the counter; the Verse has one hole and the Lustertone five.
