Choose the Elkay Dayton D125224 for a compact single-bowl drop-in, the D225193 for two smaller bowls, or the Crosstown ECTSR33229T1WS for a larger single-bowl workstation kit. Start with the cabinet minimum and countertop opening, then compare the bowl space and faucet holes.

This document-based comparison uses Elkay’s published model specifications and separately checked Amazon offers. All three picks are stainless steel; the workstation kit has a larger cabinet requirement than the two compact Dayton models.
Compare cabinet size, bowls and faucet holes
| Exact model | Overall L × W × H | Bowl L × W × depth | Cabinet minimum / holes |
|---|---|---|---|
| Dayton D125224 | 25 × 22 × 6-9/16 | One: 21 × 15-3/4 × 6-3/8 | 30 / 4 |
| Dayton D225193 | 25 × 19 × 6-5/16 | Each of two: 10 × 14 × 6-1/8 | 30 / 3 |
| Crosstown ECTSR33229T1WS | 33 × 22 × 9-5/16 | One: 30-1/2 × 17 × 9 | 36 / 1 |
These are the specification fields on Elkay’s D125224 page (elkay.com), D225193 page (elkay.com) and Crosstown page (elkay.com). The advertised Crosstown description uses a 9-inch depth; its specification table distinguishes the 9-inch bowl from the 9-5/16-inch overall height.
Dayton D125224: compact single-bowl drop-in
Choose the Dayton D125224 if you need a 25-by-22-inch drop-in sink and prefer one undivided bowl. Elkay lists a 30-inch minimum cabinet, four faucet holes and a 21-by-15-3/4-inch bowl. This is the more useful of the two compact Dayton layouts here when an uninterrupted bowl is your priority.
Its maker page (elkay.com) lists 22-gauge stainless steel and bottom-only sound-deadening pads. The D12522 family sheet (elkayfiles.com) identifies a Satin finish. Those are construction details, not a measured noise or dent-resistance score. We have not tested how this sink sounds with your countertop and cabinet.
Skip it if your cabinet is below the listed minimum, the existing cutout is incompatible, or you need more bowl depth than its listed 6-3/8 inches. Also plan all four deck holes. A single-handle faucet does not by itself account for every opening in this exact sink.
The standard new D125224 offer checked on October 15, 2026 was sold by Buildcom through Amazon, showed limited stock and had an add-to-cart button. Both the model and manufacturer part-number fields matched D125224.

Dayton D225193: two small bowls in a shorter footprint
Choose the Dayton D225193 if you want two separate bowls in a compact drop-in layout. Its maker page (elkay.com) lists a 25-by-19-inch overall footprint, a 30-inch minimum cabinet and three faucet holes. Each bowl measures 10 by 14 inches with a 6-1/8-inch depth.
The tradeoff is easy to miss in a photo. This model provides two separate work areas, but neither bowl has the uninterrupted width of the D125224 single bowl. Measure a pan you wash often against one 10-by-14-inch bowl before deciding. Do not add the two bowl widths together when judging whether that pan will sit flat.
Skip it if large sheet pans or wide cookware are the main reason you are replacing the sink. Also skip it if the existing opening requires the deeper front-to-back footprint of a different model. Two sinks that are both 25 inches long can still have different cutouts and faucet-deck arrangements.
The standard new Amazon offer checked on October 15, 2026 was sold by Buildcom, showed limited stock and had a cart button. Its title and manufacturer part number identify D225193; the model field uses the broader D22519 family name. The final digit matters because this recommendation is the three-hole configuration.

Crosstown ECTSR33229T1WS: larger workstation kit
Choose the Crosstown ECTSR33229T1WS if you have space for its 33-by-22-inch footprint, meet Elkay’s 36-inch cabinet minimum and want a larger single bowl with workstation accessories. The maker page (elkay.com) lists a 30-1/2-by-17-inch bowl, a 9-inch bowl depth, one faucet hole and both drop-in and undermount installation options.
The exact WS kit includes a bottom grid, cutting board, roll-up rack and LK100 drain. That package is a reason to consider it when those accessories match the way you use the sink. Check the delivered contents before installation and keep the complete kit model number for later accessory matching.
Elkay specifies 18-gauge Type 304 stainless steel and sound-deadening treatment on the sides and bottom. The built-in workstation ledge lets the matching accessories sit over the bowl. We have not tested accessory stability, measured noise reduction or compared finish wear with the Dayton models.
Skip it if you have only a 30-inch cabinet, if the deeper bowl would conflict with the plumbing arrangement, or if you do not want to store and clean workstation accessories. A kit is useful only when its extra pieces serve a purpose in your kitchen.
The exact ECTSR33229T1WS standard new offer checked on October 15, 2026 was sold by Amazon.com, showed limited stock and had an add-to-cart button. Its model and part number both matched the complete WS kit code.

Start with the cabinet and existing opening
Check the cabinet requirement before choosing a bowl layout. Both Dayton picks list a 30-inch minimum; the Crosstown lists 36 inches. Those figures are a first screening step. They do not prove that every cabinet of that nominal size has the clearance required for your installation.
For a replacement, record the existing countertop opening and the sink’s current mounting style. Ask the installer to compare that opening with the exact new sink template and the physical sink. Overall outside dimensions are not cutout dimensions, and a sink’s rim can conceal the shape of the opening beneath it.
The two Dayton models are listed as drop-in sinks. The Crosstown is listed for either drop-in or undermount use. That option does not mean it can replace a different sink without countertop work. Our mounting-style comparison explains the selection differences; have the installer confirm which arrangement works with your countertop.
Have your installer resolve mounting and countertop requirements using the exact maker instructions before ordering. A compatible footprint and cabinet size are only part of the fit check.
Use bowl dimensions to judge everyday space
The single-bowl Dayton and compact double-bowl Dayton answer different needs even though their overall lengths match. The D125224 gives you one 21-by-15-3/4-inch bowl. The D225193 divides its interior into two 10-by-14-inch bowls. Choose between an undivided wash area and two separate areas based on the dishes you actually handle.
Use a paper outline of one bowl to compare your largest frequently washed pot or tray. This is a rough planning check. Rounded corners, side slopes and the position of the drain can affect how an item sits, so the printed length and width do not guarantee that every rectangular pan of that size lies flat.
The Crosstown gives you a much larger single bowl, but its 9-inch bowl depth also changes the space below the counter. Have the installer check the drain and disposal arrangement, shutoff access and anything stored in the cabinet. Do not assume that a deeper replacement can reuse every connection in the same position.
For choices beyond these exact Elkay layouts, our kitchen sink guide compares other brands. This page’s shortlist is about the specific compact single, compact double and larger workstation configurations.
Match faucet holes and the complete package
Map out the faucet and accessories before you order. D125224 has four deck holes; D225193 has three; ECTSR33229T1WS has one. Compare the full hole arrangement with the faucet base, any cover plate and each separate accessory you intend to use. Counting handles is not the same as counting required mounting holes. Confirm the hole spacing and diameters as well as the count; a four-hole deck does not establish compatibility with every four-part faucet arrangement.
The Crosstown offer is the WS workstation kit. Keep that suffix when checking the listing and delivered parts. A similarly named bare sink or another accessory bundle may have a different package, even if the bowl looks the same in a search result.
For the Dayton offers, check the actual included parts rather than assuming a faucet, drain or bottom grid comes with every sink. The maker’s family specification sheets list mounting hardware and optional accessories separately. For both Dayton families, the sheets describe included hardware for countertops up to 3/4 inch thick. Have the installer confirm the correct hardware for your deck; that hardware allowance is not a universal maximum thickness for the sink itself. A room photo showing a faucet does not make that faucet part of the offer.
Use the sink model’s exact mounting instructions to select hardware. Our sink clip guide covers identification and compatibility questions. A clip that looks similar is not enough to establish that it fits the sink channel or countertop arrangement.
Frequently asked questions
Which Elkay pick fits the smaller cabinet requirement?
The D125224 and D225193 Dayton models both list a 30-inch minimum cabinet. The Crosstown ECTSR33229T1WS lists 36 inches. Check the actual installation clearance as well as the nominal cabinet size.
Does the D225193 have two full-width bowls?
No. Elkay lists each bowl at 10 by 14 inches with a 6-1/8-inch depth. A large pan must fit within one bowl; the combined bowl widths do not create an undivided space.
Is the Crosstown bowl 9 or 9-5/16 inches deep?
The maker’s table lists a 9-inch bowl depth and a 9-5/16-inch overall sink height. Those are separate dimensions.
Which models have four, three or one faucet hole?
D125224 has four holes, D225193 has three and ECTSR33229T1WS has one. Match the exact configuration to your faucet and planned accessories.
Is ECTSR33229T1WS an undermount-only sink?
No. Elkay lists both drop-in and undermount installation for that exact model. Have the installer confirm the appropriate method, template and countertop compatibility.
How we chose
We compared Elkay’s exact-model published dimensions, bowl sizes, cabinet minimums, hole counts, mounting types and package descriptions.
