Kraus sells many more sinks than these four. We picked models that cover the main choices, stainless or composite, undermount or drop-in, single or double bowl, and that are not already compared on our other sink pages. Every sheet lists a 3-1/2-inch drain opening, which fits a standard basket strainer or disposal flange, and a Kraus Limited Lifetime Warranty; Kraus’s warranty page (kraususa.com) has the terms.
Kraus KHU640-33: 18-gauge stainless undermount
Choose the KHU640-33 for a stainless undermount single bowl in a 36-inch base cabinet. Kraus’s spec sheet (kraususa.com) lists 18-gauge stainless steel, undermount installation, a 32-1/2 by 19-inch overall size, a 30-1/2 by 17-inch bowl that is 8-5/8 inches deep, and an off-set drain. It includes a strainer (ST-1) and a bottom grid (KBG-640-33), and Kraus lists NoiseDefend undercoating and sound dampening pads.
The drawing places the drain 5 inches in from the right side of the bowl. Kraus lists a 36-inch minimum cabinet, 24 inches front to back. On October 15, 2026, the standard new offer sold by Amazon.com was in stock with model KHU640-33.

Kraus KHT640-33: the drop-in version
Choose the KHT640-33 when the counter is laminate or you are dropping a sink into an existing cut-out. Kraus’s spec sheet (kraususa.com) lists the same 30-1/2 by 17-inch bowl, 8-5/8-inch depth, 18-gauge stainless steel, off-set drain, strainer, bottom grid and NoiseDefend pads as the KHU640-33, but in a top mount design with a 33 by 22-inch overall size.
The drawing shows two 1-3/8-inch holes in the deck, 13 inches apart, for a faucet and an accessory such as a soap dispenser or sprayer. Measure your old sink and cut-out before ordering; the new rim has to cover the old opening. On October 15, 2026, the standard new offer sold by Amazon.com showed limited stock with model KHT640-33.

Kraus KGU-413B Black Onyx: composite undermount
Choose the KGU-413B for a black composite undermount in a 33-inch cabinet. Kraus’s spec sheet (kraususa.com) lists quartz composite construction, undermount installation, a 30-1/2 by 17-inch overall size, a 28-3/8 by 14-1/2-inch bowl that is 8-7/8 inches deep, and a rear center-set drain. It includes a basket strainer (BST-2), mounting hardware, a cut-out template and a towel.
This is the smallest pick here, with a 33-inch minimum cabinet. Kraus notes that although its quartz composite sinks are highly heat resistant, putting hot items straight from the stove or oven into the sink may discolor the surface, and suggests a trivet or rolling mat. On October 15, 2026, the standard new offer sold by Amazon.com was in stock with model KGU-413B, black.

Kraus KGD-442 Quarza: composite double bowl, dual mount
Choose the KGD-442 for a double bowl that can go in as a drop-in or an undermount. Kraus’s spec sheet (kraususa.com) lists quartz composite construction, a dual mount design, a 60/40 split, a 33 by 22-inch overall size, a 10-inch-deep larger bowl and a 7-1/2-inch-deep smaller bowl, and rear off-set drains. It includes mounting hardware and a cut-out template.
The drawing shows the larger bowl on the left, one open 1-3/8-inch faucet hole, and three more dashed 1-1/4-inch hole positions; the sheet does not label them, so check before planning a sprayer or soap dispenser. The same heat note applies. On October 15, 2026, the standard new offer sold by Amazon.com showed limited stock with model KGD-442GREY, grey.

Stainless or composite: what the sheets show
Depth. The two stainless sinks are 8-5/8 inches deep. The composite KGU-413B is 8-7/8 inches, and the KGD-442’s larger bowl is 10 inches, the deepest here.
Sound. Kraus lists NoiseDefend undercoating and pads on both stainless sinks; the composite sheets do not mention sound treatment.
Heat. Only the composite sheets carry Kraus’s heat discoloration note.
Accessories. The stainless sinks include a strainer and bottom grid. The KGU-413B includes a basket strainer; the KGD-442 sheet lists only mounting hardware and the template, so plan to buy two strainers, or one strainer and a disposal.
Standards. The stainless sheets list cUPC to ASME A112.19.3/CSA B45.4, and the composite sheets list cUPC to CSA B45.8/IAPMO Z403.
How to read a Kraus spec sheet
Overall versus bowl. Each sheet gives two sizes. The overall size is the outside of the sink, including any rim; the bowl size is the usable basin. On the KHT640-33, the 33 by 22-inch overall size frames a 30-1/2 by 17-inch bowl, so the deck around the bowl carries the faucet holes. On the undermount KHU640-33, the overall size shrinks to 32-1/2 by 19 inches because there is no deck on top.
Depth. Kraus gives bowl depth separately from the overall height on the drawing. The KHT640-33 drawing shows 8-5/8 inches of bowl depth and a 9-inch overall height, and the KGD-442 drawing shows 10 inches for the large bowl and a 10-5/8-inch overall height. Use the overall height to check clearance over a disposal or pull-out trash.
Minimum cabinet. This is the base cabinet width Kraus lists as required, left to right, with 24 inches front to back.
Check these before you order
- Cabinet width. Kraus lists 36 inches for three of these and 33 inches for the KGU-413B.
- Counter. Undermount usually goes under a solid surface such as stone or quartz; the KHT640-33 and KGD-442 can drop into laminate.
- Faucet holes. Undermount sinks have none; the faucet mounts on the counter.
- Drain spot. Off-set and rear drains change where the trap and disposal sit under the sink.
- Strainers. The KGD-442 lists none; budget for them.
- Disposal. All four list a 3-1/2-inch drain opening.
Which Kraus kitchen sink should you buy?
