American Standard sells kitchen sinks in stainless steel and enameled cast iron. Start with three questions: does your counter allow an undermount sink, how big is the base cabinet, and how many faucet holes does your faucet need? A thicker steel sink has a lower gauge number, so 18-gauge is thicker than 20-gauge.
American Standard Edgewater 18SB.9332211: big single bowl, top or under
Choose the Edgewater for a large single bowl that can be top-mounted now or undermounted in a stone counter. American Standard’s spec sheet (lixil.cdn.celum.cloud) lists 18-gauge stainless steel, a 9-inch-deep bowl 30-1/4 × 16-1/2 inches, zero-radius corners, dual-mount installation, one faucet hole, side and bottom sound pads with full spray insulation and a 36-inch cabinet. It includes a bottom grid, a waste fitting, top-mount and undermount clips, a cutout template and installation instructions.
The drawing shows the 3-9/16-inch drain hole centered on the length and the faucet hole 2-9/16 inches from the back edge. The four reinforcement bars along the edges are for top mounting, and the same sink takes undermount clips for a stone counter, so the same model works on a laminate top or a solid-surface counter.

American Standard Suffolk 18SB.9302200AR: stainless farmhouse
Choose the Suffolk for a stainless apron-front farmhouse sink that fits a smaller cabinet. American Standard’s spec sheet (lixil.cdn.celum.cloud) lists 18-gauge stainless steel, a curved apron front, a 9-inch-deep bowl 27-1/4 × 16-9/16 inches on the drawing, 10 mm radius corners, undermount or flush-mount installation, SoundSecure+ sound pads, StoneLock undercoating and a 34-inch cabinet. It includes a bottom grid, a waste fitting, a cutout template and instructions.
The sink has no faucet holes, so the faucet mounts on the counter or wall. The drawing places the drain toward the back of the bowl, 4-3/4 inches from the back edge of the bowl, which leaves more flat floor in front and moves the trap toward the wall. An apron-front sink needs a base cabinet made or cut for one; our farmhouse sink guide covers that.

American Standard Colony 20DB.8332283S: budget double drop-in
Choose the Colony to swap out an old 33 × 22-inch double drop-in sink with three faucet holes. American Standard’s spec sheet (lixil.cdn.celum.cloud) lists 20-gauge stainless steel, two 8-inch-deep bowls each 14 × 16 inches, top-mount installation, three holes on 4-inch centers, bottom sound-deadening pads with undercoating and a 36-inch cabinet. Waste fittings, a cutout template, instructions and top-mount hardware are included.
It is the thinnest steel here at 20 gauge and the shallowest at 8 inches. The product page (americanstandard-us.com) calls it a quick kitchen makeover sink; its three holes suit a faucet with a separate sprayer or a widespread faucet.

American Standard Quince 77DB33223: cast iron double bowl
Choose the Quince for an enameled cast iron double bowl. American Standard’s spec sheet (lixil.cdn.celum.cloud) lists a cast iron double-bowl sink with three holes, 9-inch-deep bowls each 13-1/2 × 16-1/8 inches, a 33 × 22-1/4 × 9-inch outside size, a 36-inch cabinet and a limited lifetime warranty. The product page (americanstandard-us.com) says the cast iron retains heat for soaking and that the glossy enamel is nonporous and resists stains, chips and cracks.
Note on mounting: the spec sheet lists top-mount installation, while the product page title says drop-in or undercounter. Plan on top mount unless American Standard confirms undercounter for your counter. The bottom grids and waste fittings are optional extras on this sink.

What is included, and what is not
The Edgewater and Suffolk include a bottom grid and a waste fitting; the Colony includes waste fittings; the Quince lists grids and a waste fitting as optional accessories. None of the sheets include the faucet or the P-trap; American Standard notes that the supply and trap positions on its drawings are suggestions and that fittings are ordered separately. The Edgewater, Colony and Quince drawings show 3-9/16-inch drain holes, which take a standard basket strainer or disposal flange; the Suffolk drawing does not dimension its drain hole, and it ships with its own waste fitting; see our basket strainer guide.
Matching faucet and counter
Count the holes before you buy. The Edgewater has one, the Colony and Quince have three, and the Suffolk has none. Our American Standard kitchen faucet guide covers faucets from the same maker. For undermount versus top mount, see our undermount vs drop-in guide, and for other brands our Kohler kitchen sink guide.
