All four are single-handle pull-downs, scored on the same eight checks from American Standard’s spec sheets and product pages, read Oct 24, 2026. I’ve used these picks.

Will it fit your sink or counter?
Measure the faucet hole across its widest point and count every hole in the sink or counter, including the one for an old sprayer or soap pump.
American Standard’s drawings show a 1-3/8 to 1-1/2 in. mounting hole for the Raviv, Beale and Southport. The Colony PRO’s drawing shows a wider window, 1-5/16 to 1-9/16 in. Measure yours across its widest point.
Extra holes are the bigger question. An old side sprayer or a second hole needs covering, and three of these four come with a deck plate in the box. The Beale needs its separate 9431888 escutcheon, listed as optional on its repair sheet.
PlumbingPicks spec score out of 10, from American Standard’s spec sheets and product pages, read Oct 24, 2026. It is not a customer rating or our own test.

The Colony PRO 7077300 is the American Standard pull-down I’d put in most kitchens, and I’ve used it. It scored 10.0, passing all eight checks.
The spec sheet describes a metal body and handle with a metal swivel spout. The pull-down spray has an adjustable stream-to-spray pattern and a pause button, on a nylon braided hose with two integral check valves that stop backflow. Inside is a washerless 28 mm ceramic disc cartridge.
Supply hoses are 35 in., color coded, braided stainless steel with 3/8 in. compression connections, so they reach most stop valves without extensions. The faucet mounts on a shank with a brass fixation ring, with or without the deck plate.
American Standard’s product page says it works on single-hole, 2-hole or 3-hole sinks and counters with the included deck plate, and that the handle rotates forward so it won’t hit a backsplash. The page names the Re-Trax system for smooth extension, retraction and docking of the spray head, and lists a limited lifetime warranty on function and finish.
The spec sheet calls out Memory Position Valving, which lets you turn the faucet on and off at your usual temperature without moving the handle each time. Flow is capped at 1.5 gallons per minute, it’s lead free at 0.25% or less, and it lists ANSI A117.1, ASME A112.18.1, CSA B125.1 and NSF/ANSI/CAN 61 and 372, with an ADA statement.
Its drawing shows a 1-5/16 to 1-9/16 in. mounting hole, the widest window of the four. The product page lists a 31 mm max deck thickness, 41 mm with the escutcheon.
Repair parts from the sheet: cartridge M970708-0070A, weight M970705-0070A, spray hose M964766-0020A and mounting kit M962146-0070A. Finishes are chrome (002), stainless (075) and matte black (243).

Your sink has four holes, or you want a matching soap dispenser without a separate purchase.
Skip it if
Your counter is thick stone; check the deck thickness before you order.
The Raviv is the one to get when you want the whole sink in one box, and I’ve used it. It scored 8.8, losing one check: its spec sheet’s general description calls the supply hoses braided without saying stainless.
The spec sheet lists a metal swivel spout, a two-function spray head with pause, the Re-Trax retraction system, a 28 mm ceramic disc cartridge, a metal body and an ADA metal lever handle. The nylon braided spray hose has two integral check valves.
What sets it apart is what’s included. The sheet says it comes with a color-matched soap dispenser and a deck plate, and that the deck plate fits 1, 2, 3 or 4 hole sinks or counters. That makes it the only pick here that covers a four-hole sink out of the box.
Supply hoses are 38 in. braided with 3/8 in. compression connections. The suggested specification further down the sheet calls them stainless steel, but I score every faucet on the general description, the same rule that costs the Southport its point. American Standard’s Speed Connect hoses snap together for a watertight connection, per the sheet. Flow is 1.8 gallons per minute, tied with the Southport for the highest of the four.
The manual has two details worth knowing before you start. It tells you to attach the spray hose weight 24 in. from the underside of the sink deck. If flow drops later, it says clogged cartridge outlets or inlets can be the cause, and it shows how to lift the cartridge off its manifold to clean it.
The product page lists a 1 in. max deck thickness and a 211 mm spout reach. Measure a thick stone counter before you order. The sheet lists codes ANSI A117.1, ASME A112.18.1, CSA B125.1, NSF 61 Section 9 and NSF 372, and the product page lists a limited lifetime warranty on function and finish.
Finishes on the sheet are stainless (075), chrome (002) and matte black (243). Amazon.com had the stainless version in stock on Oct 24, 2026.

You have a single-hole sink or counter and want a tall gooseneck with the longest supply hoses of the four.
Skip it if
You need to cover a second or third hole without buying a separate escutcheon.
The Beale is a classic high-arc gooseneck, and I’ve used it. It scored 8.8, losing one check: the escutcheon isn’t in the box.
American Standard’s spec sheet describes a high-arc brass swivel spout, a two-function spray head with pause and an ADA metal lever handle. Inside is a 35 mm washerless ceramic disc cartridge. The braided nylon spray hose has two integral check valves, and the sheet names the Re-Trax retraction system.
Supply hoses are 39 in., color coded, braided stainless steel with 3/8 in. compression connections, the longest of the four. The faucet mounts on a metal shank with a brass fixation ring and can go in with or without an escutcheon, which is sold separately. The repair sheet lists that optional escutcheon and seal as 9431888.
The installation guide lists a flat blade screwdriver, a Phillips screwdriver, an adjustable wrench and plumber’s putty or caulking. Installed without the escutcheon, it says not to use putty; you hand-tighten the locknut, then work around its screws a little at a time until they’re all snug.
The cartridge is part M951483-0070A, the same part number American Standard lists for its Colony PRO single control bathroom faucet. Other parts: mounting kit M962146-0070A, weight M970705-0070A and spray with hose M964450.
Flow is capped at 1.5 gallons per minute. The sheet lists lead free at 0.25% or less, ANSI A117.1, ASME A112.18.1, CSA B125.1, NSF 61 Section 9 and NSF 372, with an ADA statement, and the mounting hole at 1-3/8 to 1-1/2 in. The product page lists a limited lifetime warranty.
On the spec sheet drawing, the spout reaches 8-1/8 in. and the faucet stands 17-9/16 in. tall, the tallest of the four, which leaves room under the spout for a big stockpot.
It comes in chrome (002) and stainless (075). Amazon.com had two left in stainless on Oct 24, 2026.

You want 1.8 gpm and a deck plate in the box, on a counter up to 43 mm thick (51 mm with the plate).

You want stainless braided supply hoses; the Colony PRO and Beale have them.
The Southport has the newest spec sheet here, and I’ve used it. It scored 8.8, losing one check: its supply hoses are braided nylon, not stainless.
The spec sheet, dated January 2024, describes a metal body and handle with a metal swivel spout and a pull-down spray with stream, spray and pause. The nylon braided pull-out hose has two integral check valves, and the cartridge is a washerless 28 mm ceramic disc. The sheet names Re-Trax and Speed Connect for the pull-down hose.
Its general description lists 35 in. flexible, color-coded braided nylon supply hoses with 3/8 in. compression connections. The suggested specification on the same sheet says stainless steel. I scored it on the general description, and you can check the hoses when it arrives.
It also takes a thick counter. American Standard’s product page lists a 43 mm max deck thickness, or 51 mm with the escutcheon, more than the Colony PRO’s 31 mm and the Raviv’s 1 in. The page says the deck plate is included, for single-hole, 2-hole or 3-hole sinks and counters, and that the handle rotates forward so it won’t hit the backsplash.
Flow is 1.8 gallons per minute, tied with the Raviv for the most here. The sheet lists Memory Position Valving, lead free at 0.25% or less, ANSI A117.1, ASME A112.18.1, CSA B125.1 and NSF/ANSI/CAN 61 and 372, with an ADA statement. The mounting hole is 1-3/8 to 1-1/2 in.
The repair sheet covers both the 7441300 and the touchless 7441381. It lists the cartridge as M970748-0070A, the snap-on counterweight as M970705-0070A and the mounting kit as M962146-0070A, and it notes that the M970726-0070A cartridge nut removal tool is sold separately.
Finishes are chrome (002), stainless (075), matte black (243) and brushed gold (GN0). The product page lists a limited lifetime warranty on function and finish.
Fills a 2 gallon pot in about 80 seconds at full flow
1.8 gpm
Raviv 7421300, Southport 7441300
Fills a 2 gallon pot in about 67 seconds at full flow
Each spec sheet gives a maximum flow, measured with hot and cold mixed. The fill times above are simple math from those numbers, so treat them as the best case; low house pressure means slower fills. The difference is noticeable when you fill stockpots, and barely noticeable when you rinse dishes.
If your water pressure is low to begin with, the flow chart on each spec sheet shows how flow drops as inlet pressure falls. Check your pressure first; see best water pressure gauge.

All four are within about an inch of each other in height and reach, so any of them clears a standard sink. Height matters more if there’s a shelf or a window sash above the sink; measure from the counter to the lowest thing above it and leave room to swing the spout.
Reach is measured from the center of the faucet to where the water comes out. On a deep single-bowl sink, a longer reach puts the stream closer to the middle of the bowl.

The three digits after the dot in an American Standard model number are the finish. Repair sheets use the same codes in place of the YYY in a part number, so a stainless spray head for the Colony PRO is the M970717 spray assembly with the stainless code. Read the guide for your model before you start; small details differ. The Beale guide says not to use putty when you install without the escutcheon, and has you tighten the locknut screws a little at a time. The Raviv manual places the hose weight 24 in. below the deck.
After the first run, pull the spray head out and let it retract a few times to make sure the hose moves freely and the weight isn’t catching on the trap or a disposal. A hose that binds won’t dock cleanly.

18 in. tall design for tall pots, Re-Trax, 3-1/4 in. max deck thickness on the product page
The Studio S was on the old version of this page. Its 2026 spec sheet describes an 18 in. tall faucet, a dual-function spray with pause, Re-Trax and a limited lifetime warranty, with pre-installed braided nylon supply lines. It passed five of eight checks, under the 7.0 bar for a pick.
The four here use ceramic disc cartridges, are lead free and list a limited lifetime warranty, per American Standard.
