  3. Remove the washer and screen first, setting them aside in order, you will put them back.
  4. Pop the restrictor out. Use a flathead screwdriver or needle-nose pliers to pry or pull the disc out. Expect it to resist: federal law requires that insert to be retained at the factory firmly enough that it takes at least 8 pounds of force to pull out. Keep the Screen, Lose the Disc
