Moen Banbury WS84913SRN: 4-inch centerset

Choose the Banbury WS84913 for a three-hole sink with 4-inch centers. Moen’s spec sheet (maker page: assets.moen.com/shared/docs/product-specifications/ws84913sp.pdf) lists a two-handle 4-inch centerset with a pop-up waste, lever handles that turn 90 degrees to full on, a rotating spout and a 1224 cartridge design. It installs through three 1-inch minimum holes. Moen notes the 1/2-inch IPS connections are for flexible hoses only, not rigid or semi-rigid risers with coupling nuts. The sheet lists a lifetime limited warranty against leaks, drips and finish defects to the original homeowner, with 10 years for multifamily and 5 years for commercial use.

The drawing shows a 4-3/4-inch reach, a 7-inch spout height, 4-1/8 inches from deck to aerator, a 9-1/4-inch overall width and a deck range of 5/16 to 1-3/16 inches, with 2-1/2 inches recommended to the back splash for the lift rod. Finish suffixes and connections

Moen marks the finish with letters after the model number, and the Amazon listings we checked use the same codes: SRN for Spot Resist Brushed Nickel, BL for matte black, BRB for Mediterranean Bronze, and no suffix for chrome. Matching the suffix across the sink faucet and the showerhead keeps the metal tone the same, and it is the code to quote when you order a replacement handle later.

The connections differ by model too. The WS84913 uses 1/2-inch IPS inlets meant for flexible hoses, the WS84924 uses 1/2-inch IPS connections with Duralock quick connects between the valves and spout, and the 84945 comes with flexible supply lines ending in 3/8-inch compression fittings. The 23045 showerhead threads onto a standard 1/2-inch IPS shower arm.

Check the shutoff valves under your sink and the arm in your shower before install day, so you only need one trip for parts.

Check these before you order

  • Hole pattern. 4-inch centers take the WS84913; 8 to 16 inches take the WS84924; one hole takes the 84945.
  • Supply lines. The WS84913 sheet says its 1/2-inch IPS connections are for flexible hoses only. Plan flexible supplies if you have rigid risers today.
  • Deck thickness. The WS84913 allows 5/16 to 1-3/16 inches; the WS84924 allows 1-1/4 inches, or up to 3 inches with kit 115001.
  • Drain. The WS84913 uses a pop-up with a lift rod and needs 2-1/2 inches behind it; the 84945 uses a push-down drain with no lift rod.
  • Showerhead flow. Look for the 1.75 gpm marking if your state limits shower flow.

Which Banbury piece should you buy?

Pick the sink faucet by your hole pattern, then add the showerhead to tie the shower in. The WS84913 is the choice for a 4-inch sink; the WS84924 gives a taller 8.5-inch spout for a widespread sink; the 84945 is the simple one-hole option with a push-down drain. Banbury shower trim exists too, but the trim kits we found on Amazon were sold as used or had a non-Moen UPC, so we left them out. For other Moen bathroom faucets, see our Moen bathroom faucet guide, our Moen Eva guide and our Moen Brantford guide.
