Which to buy: for cutting PVC pipe that is already in place, 1-1/4 to 8 in. Schedule 40, DEWALT’s DWAIPCIR inside PVC pipe cutter, which DEWALT says fits impact drivers and drills that take a 1/4 in. hex shank. If you already own the DWACPRIR copper cutter attachment, the DWACPR34 3/4 in. copper cutter wheel is its replacement 3/4 in. wheel; it is not a complete cutter attachment, though DEWALT says it pops out for use as a hand cutter in tight spots.
Both Amazon offers were checked on October 10, 2026 as new and sold by Amazon.com, in stock; offers change, so check that the listing names the catalog number. The DWACPRIR copper attachment and the DWAPVCIR PVC/PEX attachment had only third-party offers in that check, so they are not linked.
Quick answer: DEWALT makes three IMPACT CONNECT cutters that run on an impact driver. Pick by the pipe:
- Copper, 1/2 and 3/4 in.: the DWACPRIR copper pipe cutter attachment, which comes with 1/2 and 3/4 in. wheels. Add the DWACPR10 wheel to cut 1 in.
- PVC, PEX, ABS or plastic conduit up to 2 in.: the DWAPVCIR PVC/PEX pipe cutter attachment.
- PVC from the inside, 1-1/4 to 8 in. Schedule 40: the DWAIPCIR inside pipe cutter, which DEWALT says fits impact drivers and drills that take a 1/4 in. hex shank.

Copper wheels
- DWACPR12 (1/2 in.) and DWACPR34 (3/4 in.): replacement wheels for the copper attachment, sold fully assembled.
- DWACPR10 (1 in.): expands the attachment’s capacity to 1 in.
- DEWALT lists each wheel for Type K, L and M copper. You can pop a wheel out and use it as a hand cutter in tight spots.

When to skip
- Skip the brace attachments if your impact driver is not on DEWALT’s list.
- Skip the copper attachment for copper over 1 in.; DEWALT lists 1 in. as its maximum.
- Skip the DWAPVCIR for PVC over 2 in.; for larger Schedule 40 PVC, the DWAIPCIR cuts from inside, 1-1/4 to 8 in.
