Quick answer from a licensed plumber: Moen keys its spray hoses to the connection under the sink and to pullout versus pulldown, which “are not interchangeable.” Built-in quick connect (2010 on): the 68-inch 150259 / 202750 for most pullouts and pulldowns, the 59-inch 159560 for pullouts, the 212650 (June 2022 on, including hands-free faucets), the 207071 for a T quick connect under a handle. Double quick connect (2007–2010): 131381 (68-inch) or 137028 (pullout). Single quick connect (2003–2007) and threaded hoses (1991–2003) are mostly obsolete; Moen says to contact it, except that the 100612/100613 are replaced by the 136101 and 137028 and the 101708 is still sold.
The common one: Moen 150259 replacement hose service kit for pulldown kitchen faucets (68 inches; not linked: third-party seller only on 10/3/2026).
Step 1: Pullout or Pulldown?
Moen keeps a hose-by-hose identification guide, and its first rule is the one people skip: “Faucet hose lengths and styles vary between Pullout faucets and Pulldown faucets. They are unique to the faucet type and are not interchangeable.” The difference is the direction the wand moves: “The spray wand on a Pullout faucet pulls upward or straight out toward you,” while “The spray wand on a Pulldown faucet pulls down toward the sink.”
Moen also warns that not every hose swaps for another: “There have been design improvements to Moen faucet hoses through the years which include changes to materials, lengths, and connection types. This means that not all hoses are not interchangeable.”
Moen gives three ways to identify the hose. With the model number (from the box, receipt or install sheet), “You can enter this information on Moen.com and open the product guide. At the bottom of the page, view the *Replacement Parts under Installation and Support to determine the hose service kit.” Without it, Moen’s Faucet Finder identifies the faucet from a photo, or you compare both ends of the hose to its chart. That chart is what this page condenses. Delta faucets are on our Delta hose guide.
Step 2: Look at the Connection Under the Sink
Moen: “How does the faucet hose connection attach to the faucet body under the sink? Follow the faucet hose down under the sink to where it attaches to the faucet body.” There are five connection styles, and each one maps to a short list of hose numbers.
| Connection at the faucet body | Years used (Moen) | What it looks like (Moen) | Hose numbers |
|---|---|---|---|
| Threaded | “1991-2003” | A hose with one male or female threaded end on the metal faucet body; the male type “may be threaded onto a brass connector” | Male: 94874, 98314, 98399, 100055, 100620, 101198. Female: 101708, 103438, 109248 |
| Single Quick Connect | “2003-2007” | “The faucet hose would have female threaded end that threads onto a plastic single Quick Connect. The Quick Connect is then snapped onto the smooth metal faucet body.” | 114297, 100612, 100613 |
| Double Quick Connect | “2007-2010” | “a plastic connector that will have two black or two white release tabs. One side will attach to the faucet hose and the other will attach to the metal faucet body.” | 124662, 131381, 137028 |
| Built-in Quick Connect | “2010-Present” | “a plastic connector that is permanently attached to a flexible tube that extends from the faucet body. It will have only one black or white release tab.” | 150259, 150259B, 150259BL, 150259CST, 159560, 212650, 191751BL, 199106BL |
| T Quick Connect | “2022-Present” | “a Quick Connect that is snapped into a T Quick Connect underneath one of the handles” | 207071 |
Step 3: Pick the Hose Number
Most Moen faucets in service today have the built-in quick connect, and Moen’s chart says of that group: “The following hoses below are almost identical. You will need to know your model number in order to select the correct hose.” The lengths and faucet types still sort them:
| Hose | Faucet type | Length (Moen) | Notes from Moen’s chart |
|---|---|---|---|
| 150259 / 202750 | Pullout & pulldown | 68″ | “150259 direct ship from warehouse 202750 retail packaging The two hoses are interchangeable.” Intro 2011 |
| 150259B / 150259BL / 150259CST | Pulldown | 68″ | Intro 2018 / 2022 / 2022; built-in quick connect |
| 159560 | Pullout | 59″ | Intro 2012; “Component number on bag: 155411, 172322, 177354, 177906 or 205697” |
| 212650 | Pullout & pulldown | 68″ | Intro 6/2022; “Hands Free Faucet- Hose end attaches to white Quick Connect with 1 black button located at the bottom of the control box” |
| 207071 | Pulldown | 68″ | Intro 2021; T quick connect under a handle |
| 191751BL / 199106BL | Pulldown | 68″ | Intro 2022; built-in quick connect |
| 131381 | Pullout & pulldown | 68″ | Intro 2007; double quick connect; “Replacement: 131381” |
| 137028 | Pullout | “59″ (Prior to 2015) or 53″ (After 2015)” | Intro 2007; double quick connect; the substitute Moen names for the obsolete 100612 and 100613 (“Order 136101 & 137028”) |
| 124662 | Pullout & pulldown | 68″ | Intro 2006; “124662 comes with a 136101 Quick Connect” |
| 101708 | Pullout | 59″ | Intro 1999; female threaded; still listed as its own replacement |
The threaded hoses from the 1990s are mostly gone. Moen marks the 94874, 98314, 98399, 100055, 100620, 101198, 103438, 109248 and 114297 the same way: “Original faucet hose is obsolete,” and for those, “Due to this hose being obsolete, please Contact Moen for additional assistance.” The one exception in the threaded group is the 101708, which Moen still lists as replacement 101708. If your hose is obsolete, a new faucet may be the simpler fix; our kitchen faucet picks compare three current faucets by fit and parts.

Why the New Hose Looks Different
Moen changed the ends without changing the numbers, and says so on each install sheet. For the 150259, 202750 and 212650: “The hose that you were sent may look slightly different than your original hose. While they look different they are interchangeable.”
Moen says the hose end that connects to the faucet under the deck “will either be brass or non-metallic,” and the end that connects to the spray wand on top of the deck “will either be chrome or non-metallic.” The 159560 adds “Size: The exterior hose diameter has changed,” and the 131381 “the hose diameter has changed slightly.” So a thinner hose or a plastic end in the bag is not the wrong part.
Swapping It: The Built-In Quick Connect
Moen’s steps for the 2010-on connection, condensed. Shut the water off first. Under the sink: “1. Remove the hose weight. 2. Remove the hose from the built-in quick connect,” where a “Black with white release tab” connector means “Squeeze the white tabs together and push the tabs in. Pull the hose out of the black quick connect housing,” and a “White with black release tab” means “Press and hold the black button to release the quick connect from the spray hose and pull the hose out of the white quick connect housing.”
Then “Grab ahold of the sprayer and pull the hose out through the faucet toward you,” hold the coupling and unthread the wand, and “Remove the screen washer and O-ring (B) which will be located inside the hose’s coupling (A) or the threaded end of the spray wand.” Moen has you rinse that screen: “Using a different faucet, hold the screen washer (B) underwater to rinse any debris that may have built up on the screen washer (B).”
Going back together: put the screen washer and O-ring in the wand, “Using a wrench, tighten the Pullout Hose, flush with Spray Wand. Do not over tighten,” feed the hose down through the faucet, “Remove and discard plastic cap from end of pullout hose,” fit a non-snap-on weight now, push the hose into the quick connect until it locks (“There will be an audible click” on the white type), then “To test this, gently tug on the quick connect.” A snap-on weight goes on last, “onto the hose on the spray wand side a few inches up from the bottom.”
Two Hoses That Are Not the Spray Hose
If your Moen has a separate handle, there is a second hose under the deck that carries water from the handle to the spout, and it has its own numbers. Moen: “The underdeck faucet hose is about 21″ long from end to end. There are three version of the underdeck faucet hose. They are not interchangeable.”
The 114307 original (2003–2014) and 114307 redesign (2014 on) swap for each other, but the 159582 (2016 on) does not: Moen’s tell is the connection height, “about 1/16″” on the 114307 versus “about 1/2″” on the 159582. Two-handle faucets use a 34-inch supply hose instead, the 114299 (original and redesign, interchangeable) or the 159581, again “Not interchangeable.”
FAQ
Which Moen hose do I need for a pulldown faucet?
For a 2010-or-newer Moen with the built-in quick connect, the 68-inch 150259 (retail number 202750) fits most pulldown and pullout faucets; Moen says the two are interchangeable. Pulldowns from 2018 on may use the 150259B, BL or CST, faucets from June 2022 (including hands-free) the 212650, and faucets with a T quick connect under the handle the 207071. Confirm with your model number on moen.com.
What is the difference between Moen 150259 and 159560?
Length and faucet type. Moen lists the 150259 as a 68-inch pullout and pulldown hose and the 159560 as a 59-inch pullout hose, both with the built-in quick connect. Pullout and pulldown hoses are not interchangeable.
Are Moen 150259 and 202750 the same hose?
Yes. Moen’s chart says the 150259 is the direct-ship number and the 202750 is the retail packaging, and the two hoses are interchangeable.
My Moen hose has a different end than the old one. Is it wrong?
Probably not. Moen says replacement hoses may look different: the under-deck end is brass or non-metallic, the wand end chrome or non-metallic, and on the 159560 and 131381 the hose diameter changed. Moen states they are interchangeable with the originals.
How do I release the Moen quick connect under the sink?
On a black connector with a white tab, squeeze the white tabs together and push them in, then pull the hose out. On a white connector with a black button, press and hold the button and pull the hose out. Remove the hose weight first and shut off the water.
