Our pick for most sinks: the Delta Lenta 19802Z-SP-DST, with DIAMOND Seal, ShieldSpray and MagnaTite docking. Check the Delta Lenta 19802Z-SP-DST on Amazon
Most of the difference between Delta’s kitchen faucets comes down to four Delta technologies: the DIAMOND Seal valve, Touch2O, the spray (ShieldSpray, ProClean or a basic two-function wand) and the supply lines. This page picks five Delta kitchen faucets by those features, from Delta’s own spec sheets and product pages. It skips the Delta models we already cover elsewhere; links to those are below. For other brands, see our best kitchen faucet guide.

Every linked listing was sold by Amazon.com and in stock on October 6, 2026. How to Choose a Delta Kitchen Faucet
DIAMOND Seal or ceramic disc
The Lenta and Essa spec sheets list a diamond coated ceramic cartridge, which Delta markets as DIAMOND Seal Technology. Delta claims it lasts twice as long as the industry standard, which it gives as 500,000 cycles under ASME A112.18.1, and that it reduces leak points. The Finnridge and Nicoli list a ceramic disc cartridge; Delta says the Finnridge cartridge is tested to at least 500,000 uses. Both are covered by the same lifetime warranty on parts.
Touch2O, touchless or manual
Touch2O turns the water on and off at a touch and needs batteries or a plug-in adapter. Touchless adds a hands-free sensor. Manual needs nothing. The Essa here is Touch2O; for touchless, the Essa 9113TL and Lenta 19802TLZ are in our touchless kitchen faucet picks.
The spray
ShieldSpray (Lenta, Leland) is a concentrated jet inside a ring of water that Delta says cuts splatter. ProClean (Finnridge) is a wide fan spray that Delta says cleans faster than a standard spray. The Essa and Nicoli have a basic two-function wand: aerated stream or spray.
Supply lines
The Lenta, Essa and Leland come with integrated PEX supply lines; the Nicoli has polymer braided hoses. All connect to 3/8-inch compression stops. Delta’s installation sheet 106557, which the Lenta and Leland pages link, says that if you cut the PEX tubing, the cut must be straight, you must use the plastic ferrule supplied rather than a metal one, and Delta is not responsible for tubing cut too short. It also says not to use pipe dope or sealant on the supply connections.

Delta Lenta 19802Z-SP-DST Pull-Down Kitchen Faucet
DIAMOND Seal valve (diamond coated ceramic cartridge) · 3-function wand: aerated stream, spray, ShieldSpray · MagnaTite docking · Touch-Clean spray holes · SpotShield stainless finish · 20 in. retractable hose · 1.8 gpm at 60 psi · 1 or 3 hole, 8 in. centers, optional escutcheon included · 3/8 in. O.D. PEX supply lines · deck up to 2-1/2 in. · Lifetime Limited Warranty
The Lenta is the Delta to buy if you want Delta’s main technologies without batteries. Its spec sheet lists a diamond coated ceramic cartridge, which Delta sells as DIAMOND Seal, a three-function wand with ShieldSpray, MagnaTite magnetic docking and Touch-Clean spray holes. Delta’s page adds a 20-inch retractable hose and a SpotShield finish, which Delta says resists water spots and fingerprints.
ShieldSpray is the feature that sets it apart from the plainer Deltas here. Delta describes a concentrated jet inside a shield of water and claims an average of 90% less splatter than a standard spray; that is Delta’s figure, not a test of ours. For fit, the sheet lists one or three holes on 8-inch centers with the escutcheon included, a 1-5/16 to 1-1/2 inch hole size and a deck up to 2-1/2 inches thick. If you want this faucet without touching it at all, the touchless Lenta is in our touchless kitchen faucet picks.
- DIAMOND Seal valve, per Delta’s sheet
- Three spray modes including ShieldSpray
- No batteries or power needed
- Escutcheon included for a 3-hole sink
- Integrated PEX supply lines take care if you cut them
- Delta’s splatter claim is its own figure
- Manual only; the touchless Lenta is a separate model
Verdict: The Delta for most kitchens: DIAMOND Seal, ShieldSpray and magnetic docking, with nothing to power.
Delta Essa 9113T-AR-DST Pull-Down Kitchen Faucet With Touch2O
Touch2O touch on and off · DIAMOND Seal valve (diamond coated ceramic cartridge) · 2-function wand: aerated stream or spray · MagnaTite docking · LED indicator for on/off, temperature and low batteries · 6 AA batteries included, or 6 C (not included) · optional EP102157 120 V adapter (3-prong grounded outlet) · 20 in. hose · 1.8 gpm at 60 psi · 1 or 3 hole, escutcheon included · PEX supply lines · Lifetime Limited Warranty; electronics 5 years
Touch2O is Delta’s touch-on, touch-off technology. Delta says a touch anywhere on the spout or handle, even with a wrist or forearm, turns the water on or off at the temperature the handle is set to. The Essa 9113T spec sheet lists Touch2O, DIAMOND Seal, MagnaTite docking and Touch-Clean spray holes, with an LED that signals on and off, water temperature and low batteries.
It runs on six AA batteries, which are included, or six C cells, and Delta’s page estimates up to a year on AA or three years on C in typical use. A plug-in adapter, EP102157, is optional and needs a three-prong grounded outlet. Under Delta’s warranty the electronic parts get 5 years, or 1 year for commercial purchasers, and batteries are not covered. One caution on the paperwork: a bullet on Delta’s 9113T page describes hands-free touchless activation, but the 9113T spec sheet lists Touch2O only. The touchless Essa is a different model, the 9113TL, covered on our touchless page.
- Touch on and off with a wrist or forearm, per Delta
- DIAMOND Seal valve
- Batteries included; plug-in adapter optional
- LED shows water temperature
- Batteries to replace, or an outlet under the sink for the adapter
- Electronic parts covered 5 years, not lifetime
- Two spray modes, no ShieldSpray
Verdict: The Delta to buy if you want touch on and off, and do not mind batteries or an outlet under the sink.
Delta Leland 9178-BL-DST Pull-Down Kitchen Faucet in Matte Black
DIAMOND Seal valve · ShieldSpray · MagnaTite docking · Touch-Clean spray holes · ADA-compliant lever handle (Delta) · 20 in. retractable hose · 1.8 gpm at 60 psi · 1 or 3 hole, 8 in. centers · 3/8 in. compression fittings, integrated InnoFlex PEX supply lines · Lifetime Limited Warranty · linked in matte black (9178-BL-DST)
The Leland is the curved, traditional-looking Delta, and it carries the same core features as the Lenta. Delta’s pages for the Arctic Stainless 9178-AR-DST and the matte black 9178-BL-DST list DIAMOND Seal, ShieldSpray, MagnaTite docking, Touch-Clean spray holes and a 20-inch retractable hose, plus a lever handle that Delta calls ADA compliant. It fits one or three holes on 8-inch centers.
We link the matte black 9178-BL-DST. Delta’s pages for both finishes link a spec sheet for a different model number, so we used the product pages only and did not quote dimensions. If you need height and reach for a window or shelf, check them on the listing before you order.
Not linked: when we checked on October 6, 2026, the Amazon listing for the Arctic Stainless 9178-AR-DST said it usually ships within 2 to 4 weeks.
- Traditional curved spout and lever handle
- DIAMOND Seal and ShieldSpray, per Delta
- Lever handle Delta calls ADA compliant
- Matte black finish salt fog tested, per Delta
- No dimensions here: Delta’s page links a spec sheet for a different model
- Deck plate is listed on the Amazon listing, not on Delta’s pages
- Manual only; the Leland with Touch2O is a different model
Verdict: The Delta for a traditional kitchen that still wants DIAMOND Seal and ShieldSpray.
Delta Finnridge 19730LF-SS Pull-Down Kitchen Faucet With ProClean
ProClean wide fan spray · ceramic disc cartridge · MagnaTite docking · Touch-Clean spray holes · 20 in. retractable hose · 1.8 gpm at 60 psi · 1 or 3 hole, 8 in. centers, deck plate included · 3/8 in. compression fittings · NSF/ANSI 61 and 372 (Delta) · Lifetime Limited Warranty
Finnridge trades Delta’s DIAMOND Seal valve for a ceramic disc cartridge, which Delta says is tested to last at least 500,000 uses, and adds ProClean spray. Delta describes ProClean as a powerful, wide fan spray and claims it cleans surfaces at least two times faster than standard sprays. That is Delta’s claim, not one we have measured.
It keeps MagnaTite docking, Touch-Clean spray holes and a 20-inch hose, and fits one or three holes on 8-inch centers with a deck plate included. On warranty, a Delta representative answering a question on the Finnridge page said Amazon is an authorized seller, so a Finnridge bought from Amazon gets Delta’s Lifetime Limited Warranty. The second button is the brushed gold Finnridge, also sold by Amazon.com.
- ProClean wide fan spray, per Delta
- Deck plate included
- MagnaTite docking
- Delta says Amazon is an authorized seller
- Ceramic disc cartridge, not DIAMOND Seal
- Delta’s spray claim is its own figure
- Delta’s page does not list how many spray modes it has
Verdict: The Delta for sinks that see baked-on pans, if you can live without the DIAMOND Seal valve.
Delta Nicoli 19867LF-SS Pull-Down Kitchen Faucet
Ceramic disc cartridge · 2-function wand: aerated stream or spray · MagnaTite docking · Touch-Clean spray holes · 20 in. retractable hose · 1.8 gpm at 60 psi · 1 or 3 hole, escutcheon included · polymer braided supply hoses with 3/8 in. compression fittings · deck up to 2-1/2 in. · Lifetime Limited Warranty
The Nicoli is the plain Delta: a ceramic disc cartridge, a two-function wand with an aerated stream or spray, MagnaTite docking and Touch-Clean spray holes. Its spec sheet lists polymer braided flexible supply hoses with 3/8-inch compression fittings instead of the PEX lines on the Lenta, Essa and Leland.
That supply difference matters at install. Braided hoses can loop under the sink, while Delta’s installation sheet for the PEX-line Lenta and Leland asks for a straight cut and the supplied plastic ferrule if you shorten the tubing. The sheet lists one or three holes with the escutcheon included, a 1-5/16 to 1-1/2 inch hole size and a deck up to 2-1/2 inches. Skip it if you want ShieldSpray or DIAMOND Seal.
- Braided supply hoses, no tubing to cut
- Escutcheon included
- MagnaTite docking and Touch-Clean spray holes
- Simple two-function wand
- Ceramic disc cartridge, not DIAMOND Seal
- Only two spray modes; no ShieldSpray
- No touch or touchless option on this model
Verdict: The Delta for a straightforward swap where you want braided supplies and a basic two-mode wand.

Before You Buy
- Count the holes. Every pick fits one or three holes on 8-inch centers. The Lenta, Essa and Nicoli include an escutcheon to cover the extra holes; the Finnridge includes a deck plate, and the Leland’s Amazon listing says a deck plate is included. Our kitchen faucet hole size guide shows how to measure.
- Check the deck. The Lenta and Nicoli sheets list a hole size of 1-5/16 to 1-1/2 inches and a deck up to 2-1/2 inches thick. Thick stone counters can run past that.
- Clear the backsplash. The Lenta, Essa and Nicoli sheets ask for at least 2-1/2 inches of clearance to the backsplash.
- Touch2O needs power. Plan for batteries or a grounded three-prong outlet under the sink for the optional adapter.
- Buy from an authorized seller. Delta’s warranty covers faucets bought from authorized Delta sellers. Every pick here was sold by Amazon.com when we checked.
Installing a Delta Kitchen Faucet
The job is a standard faucet swap: shut off both stops, disconnect the old supplies, remove the old faucet, set the new one and tighten the mounting nut from below. For the Lenta and Leland, Delta’s sheet 106557 says to start each nut by hand to avoid cross-threading, turn it until snug, then tighten at least two more turns with a wrench, and to loop extra tubing rather than kink it, with a bend no tighter than 8 inches across. It also says to flush the lines into a bucket through the outlet tube before you connect the hose, which keeps debris out of the hose and sprayer. Our faucet installation guide walks through the whole job.
Plumber’s note: if the stops under the sink will not shut off fully, replace them while the faucet is out. If a Delta you already own has a pull-down hose problem, see Delta kitchen faucet hose replacement before you replace the whole faucet.
FAQ
Which Delta kitchen faucet is best?
For most sinks, the Delta Lenta 19802Z-SP-DST: DIAMOND Seal valve, a three-function wand with ShieldSpray and MagnaTite docking, with no batteries. For touch on and off, the Essa 9113T-AR-DST with Touch2O. For a traditional look, the Leland 9178, linked here in matte black (9178-BL-DST). For a strong fan spray, the Finnridge. For braided supplies and a simple wand, the Nicoli.
What is Delta DIAMOND Seal Technology?
Delta’s name for its valve with a diamond coated ceramic cartridge, as the Lenta and Essa spec sheets list it. Delta says it reduces leak points and lasts twice as long as the industry standard of 500,000 cycles under ASME A112.18.1. The Finnridge and Nicoli use a plain ceramic disc cartridge instead.
What is the difference between Touch2O and touchless?
Touch2O turns the water on or off when you touch the spout or handle. Delta’s touchless models add a sensor so you can wave a hand near the faucet. The Essa 9113T here is Touch2O; the 9113TL and the touchless Lenta are covered in our touchless kitchen faucet guide.
Does Delta honor the warranty on faucets bought on Amazon?
Delta’s warranty covers faucets bought from authorized Delta sellers, and a Delta representative answering a question on its Finnridge page said Amazon is an authorized seller. Check that the listing says sold by Amazon.com or another authorized seller, and keep the receipt.
How long is the Delta kitchen faucet warranty?
Delta’s warranty covers parts and finishes for as long as the original buyer owns the home the faucet was first installed in. Electronic parts get 5 years, and batteries are not covered. For commercial purchasers, Delta gives 10 years for multi-family residential use, which it defines as a buyer who owns but does not live in the home, such as a rented house, condominium or apartment building, and 5 years for all other commercial uses, with 1 year on electronic parts. Labor is not covered, and the warranty is not transferable.
