Chrome is a bright, polished finish. All four heads here are linked in chrome: Kohler codes it CP, while Delta and Moen list chrome as the standard finish. For other finishes, see our black, brushed nickel and gold shower head guides.
Kohler Parallel K-24805-G-CP: square, Katalyst
Choose the Parallel for a square single-spray head with Kohler’s air induction. Kohler’s spec sheet (resources.kohler.com) lists a single-function head with 48 nozzles on a 5-inch square sprayface, Katalyst air-induction technology, a MasterClean sprayface that Kohler says withstands mineral buildup, a 1.75 gpm flow at 45 psi and a 1/2-14 NPT connection.
It lists a 3-1/8-inch depth, EPA WaterSense and polished chrome among five finishes, and notes it coordinates with Kohler’s Parallel collection. The warranty is Kohler’s faucet lifetime limited warranty. On October 15, 2026, the standard new offer sold by Build.com was in stock with model 24805-G-CP. More in our Kohler shower head guide.

Delta 75898C: eight settings with pause
Choose the Delta 75898C for the most settings here. Delta’s spec sheet (media.deltafaucet.com) (Rev. C) lists eight settings changed with a dial: full body, full spray with massage, massaging, shampoo rinsing, shampoo rinsing with massage, slow massage, soft full spray and pause. Delta notes the pause is a non-positive shut-off.
It lists a 6-inch face, a ball connector that swivels 36 degrees, Touch-Clean spray holes and a 1/2-14 NPT fitting. The sheet covers two versions: the 75898C at 1.75 gpm, which is WaterSense, and the 75898 at 2.5 gpm, which is not, so check for the C. On October 15, 2026, the standard new offer sold by Amazon.com was in stock with model 75898C. More in our Delta shower head guide.

Delta RP101846: simple square head
Choose the Delta RP101846 for a plain square single-spray head. Delta’s spec sheet (media.deltafaucet.com) (Rev. B) lists a 5-inch square head, a 1.75 gpm flow at 80 psi, a standard 1/2-inch fitting, wrench flats for tightening and a metal ball connector, with EPA WaterSense.
It lists a 2-7/16-inch depth and a lifetime limited warranty on parts and finish for residential buyers. The sheet does not list Touch-Clean or a spray-setting count beyond the single spray; Amazon’s listing mentions Touch-Clean, so treat that as a seller claim. On October 15, 2026, the standard new offer sold by Amazon.com was in stock with model RP101846.

Moen Easy Clean XL 6300EP: basic single spray
Choose the Moen 6300EP for a basic single-spray replacement. Moen’s spec sheet (maker page: assets.moen.com/shared/docs/product-specifications/6300ep15sp.pdf) (Rev. 1/13) covers the Easy Clean XL 6300 series. It lists a nonmetallic spray face and shell, a single spray and 1/2-inch IPS threads, and gives three flow limits: 2.5 gpm for the standard model, 1.75 gpm for EP models and 1.5 gpm for EP15 models. Only EP models are WaterSense listed.
The linked 6300EP is the 1.75 gpm version. The warranty is lifetime against leaks, drips and finish defects to the original consumer purchaser, 5 years commercial. On October 15, 2026, the standard new offer sold by Amazon.com was in stock with model 6300EP. More in our Moen shower head guide.

Square or round?
The Kohler Parallel and Delta RP101846 are both 5-inch square heads with a single spray. The Delta 75898C is a 6-inch round head with eight settings. Moen’s sheet shows the 6300 as a small bell-shaped head without a listed face size. A square head can match square valve trim; a round head matches round trim. If you want a larger overhead spray, see our rain shower head guide.
Check the flow suffix
Two of these heads come in more than one flow rate under nearly the same number. Delta’s sheet lists the 75898 at 2.5 gpm and the 75898C at 1.75 gpm. Moen’s sheet lists the 6300 at 2.5 gpm, the 6300EP at 1.75 gpm and the 6300EP15 at 1.5 gpm. The suffix decides whether the head is WaterSense listed, so read it on the listing before you order. For lower-flow options, see our low-flow shower head guide.
Installing a chrome shower head
All four use a standard 1/2-inch connection. Unscrew the old head, clean the arm threads, wrap them with thread seal tape and hand-tighten the new head. Delta lists wrench flats on the RP101846 for tightening; wrap the jaws with a cloth to protect the chrome. See our thread seal tape guide, and if your arm is too short, our shower arm extender guide.
Matching chrome trim
If you want an exact match, buy from the same maker’s line. Kohler lists the Parallel in five finishes and notes it coordinates with its Parallel collection, so a Parallel valve trim or faucet in CP will share the code. Delta and Moen list chrome as the base finish for these heads. If you are replacing only the head and keeping existing trim, compare the new head with the trim in person or on the maker’s product page before you install it, and keep the packaging until you are happy with the look.
Cleaning and warranties
Kohler lists a MasterClean sprayface on the Parallel, which it says withstands mineral buildup, and Delta lists Touch-Clean spray holes on the 75898C. The Delta RP101846 sheet does not list a cleaning feature, and Moen’s sheet names the 6300 “Easy Clean” without describing a nozzle feature. For warranties, Kohler lists its faucet lifetime limited warranty; Delta lists a lifetime limited warranty on parts and finish for residential buyers, with 10 years multifamily and 5 years other commercial; and Moen lists a lifetime limited warranty to the original consumer purchaser, 5 years commercial. If your water is hard, see our water hardness test kit guide.
