“Gold” shower heads go by different finish names. Kohler calls its version Vibrant Brushed Moderne Brass (code 2MB), Delta uses Champagne Bronze (CZ), and Moen uses Brushed Gold (BG). These are different finishes and may not match each other, so if matching matters, buy the head from the same maker as your shower trim. For other finishes, see our black and brushed nickel shower head guides; for gold faucets, our gold bathroom faucet guide.
Kohler Awaken G90 K-72418-G-2MB: compact, three sprays
Choose the Awaken G90 for a compact gold head with three sprays. Kohler’s spec sheet (resources.kohler.com) lists wide coverage, intense drenching and targeted sprays changed with a thumb tab, a MasterClean sprayface that Kohler says withstands mineral buildup, a 1.75 gpm flow and a 1/2-inch NPT connection.
It lists a 3-9/16-inch face, the smallest here, a 2-13/16-inch depth, EPA WaterSense, and Vibrant Brushed Moderne Brass among four finishes. The warranty is Kohler’s faucet lifetime limited warranty. On October 15, 2026, the standard new offer sold by Amazon.com showed limited stock with model 72418-G-2MB. More in our Kohler shower head guide.

Delta 52535-CZ: five settings with pause
Choose the Delta 52535 for a 6-inch face, five settings and WaterSense. Delta’s spec sheet (media.deltafaucet.com) (Rev. C) lists five settings changed with a lever: full body, full spray with massage, massaging spray, shampoo rinsing and pause, a 1.75 gpm flow at 80 psi and a 1/2-14 NPT fitting. Delta notes the pause is a non-positive shut-off.
It lists a 6-inch face, a ball joint that swivels 36 degrees, Touch-Clean spray holes and EPA WaterSense, with a lifetime limited warranty on parts and finish for residential buyers. On October 15, 2026, the standard new offer sold by Amazon.com was in stock with model 52535-CZ, Champagne Bronze. More in our Delta shower head guide.

Delta 52680-CZ: large raincan, 2.5 gpm
Choose the Delta 52680 for a large raincan face, if your area allows 2.5 gpm. Delta’s spec sheet (media.deltafaucet.com) (Rev. E) lists an 8-3/16-inch raincan head with three settings changed by an easy-turn dial: full body, full spray with massage and massaging spray, a 2.5 gpm maximum flow at 80 psi, a metal ball connector and a 1/2-14 NPT fitting.
It lists Touch-Clean spray holes and a 4-11/16-inch depth. Unlike the 52535, the sheet does not list WaterSense, and 2.5 gpm is above the 1.75 gpm of the other heads here. On October 15, 2026, the standard new offer sold by Amazon.com had an add-to-cart button and a listed delivery date, with model 52680-CZ.

Moen 6345BG: 8-inch single-spray rain head
Choose the Moen 6345 for a flat 8-inch rainfall head in Brushed Gold. Moen’s spec sheet (maker page: assets.moen.com/shared/docs/product-specifications/6345sp.pdf) (10/19) lists a single-function rainfall showerhead with a nonmetallic spray face and shell, a brass swivel ball, an 8-inch face and WaterSense certification.
The sheet gives a flow limit only for EP-suffix models, 1.75 gpm for those made after June 30, 2018; the linked 6345BG has no EP suffix, so check the flow rate printed on the product. The warranty is lifetime against leaks, drips and finish defects to the original homeowner. On October 15, 2026, the standard new offer sold by Amazon.com was in stock with model 6345BG. Face size and spray
The heads range from the compact 3-9/16-inch Kohler to the 8-inch Moen and 8-3/16-inch Delta raincan. The two large heads have one or three sprays. The Delta 52535 has five settings including pause on a 6-inch face. Kohler uses a thumb tab, Delta a lever on the 52535 and a dial on the 52680.
Flow and WaterSense
The Kohler Awaken G90 and Delta 52535 are rated at 1.75 gpm and WaterSense listed. The Delta 52680 is rated at 2.5 gpm, the federal maximum, and its sheet does not list WaterSense. Moen’s 6345 sheet is WaterSense certified, but it gives a flow figure only for EP models. If you want lower water use, see our low-flow shower head guide.
Cleaning and installation
Kohler lists a MasterClean sprayface on the Awaken, and Delta lists Touch-Clean spray holes on both of its heads. Moen’s sheet does not describe a cleaning feature. All four use a standard 1/2-inch connection: remove the old head, wrap the arm threads with thread seal tape and hand-tighten the new head. See our thread seal tape guide. Delta’s U4993-CZ shower arm and flange is also listed on Amazon in Champagne Bronze; for a longer reach, see our shower arm extender guide.
Matching the rest of the shower
If you want the valve trim, tub spout and any handshower to match the head, plan the finish codes together. Kohler lists the Awaken G90 in four finishes, so you can match other Kohler trim in Brushed Moderne Brass. Delta lists finish options on its product pages and uses the CZ suffix for Champagne Bronze across shower parts. Moen uses BG for Brushed Gold. Check the suffix on every piece before you order so all the parts carry the same code.
Warranties
All three makers list lifetime-style coverage, but the wording differs. Kohler lists its faucet lifetime limited warranty for the Awaken G90 and refers to its website for details. Delta lists a lifetime limited warranty on parts and finish for both heads, with 10 years for multifamily and 5 years for other commercial uses. Moen lists a lifetime limited warranty against leaks, drips and finish defects to the original homeowner, 10 years multifamily and 5 years commercial. Finish coverage matters on a gold head, so keep your receipt and register the product if the maker offers it.
