The Best Gold Bathroom Faucets by Sink Layout

Match the faucet to your sink holes first: the Moen Voss 6901BG for a 4-inch centerset, the Kohler Tone K-27415-4-2MB for a single hole, and the Delta Arvo 35840LF-CZ for a widespread sink. Each maker’s gold is a different shade, so buy the drain and accessories in the same maker’s finish.

This guide covers gold-finish bathroom sink faucets and how to choose by sink layout.

Every maker names its gold differently, and the shades are not identical. Choose by the holes in your sink or counter first, then compare the finish in person or in the maker’s photos, and buy the drain, towel bar and other trim in the same maker’s finish so the golds match.

Moen Voss 6901BG: 4-inch centerset

Choose the Moen Voss 6901BG for a standard three-hole sink with 4-inch centers. Moen’s spec sheet (maker page: assets.moen.com/shared/docs/product-specifications/6901sp.pdf) lists installation through three holes at least 1 inch across on 4-inch centers, 1/2-inch IPS connections that accept standard ball-nose 3/8-inch tubing, lever handles that turn 90 degrees to full on, a 1234 Duralast cartridge, 1.2 gpm maximum flow at 60 psi, and an included pop-up drain. Moen lists a lifetime limited warranty against leaks, drips and finish defects to the original homeowner.

The BG suffix is Moen’s Brushed Gold finish. On October 15, 2026, the standard new offer sold by Amazon.com showed stock with part 6901BG.

Kohler Tone K-27415-4-2MB: single hole

Choose the Kohler Tone K-27415-4-2MB for a single-handle look. Kohler lists (resources.kohler.com) a single-handle faucet for single-hole or 4-inch centerset installation with an escutcheon plate included, a 5-7/8-inch spout reach, 1.2 gpm maximum flow at 60 psi, ceramic disc valves, preattached flexible supply lines with 3/8-inch compression fittings, a clicker drain, and a 2-inch maximum deck thickness. Kohler lists WaterSense, NSF 61 and 372 and a lifetime limited faucet warranty.

2MB is Kohler’s Vibrant Brushed Moderne Brass. On October 15, 2026, the standard new offer sold by Amazon.com showed limited stock with part 27415-4-2MB.

Delta Arvo 35840LF-CZ: widespread

Choose the Delta Arvo 35840LF-CZ for a widespread sink. Delta lists (deltafaucet.com) a two-handle widespread faucet for three-hole installations 6 to 16 inches apart, a quick-connect supply hose, a cartridge it says is tested to at least 500,000 uses, a push pop-up drain that unscrews from above the deck, and a lifetime limited warranty. The spec sheet (media.deltafaucet.com) has the full dimensions.

Delta describes its Champagne Bronze as a Brilliance PVD finish and says it is tested against more than 100 household cleaners and for corrosion resistance to at least two times industry standards.

On October 15, 2026, the standard new offer sold by Amazon.com was available with a stated delivery date, part 35840LF-CZ.

Match the faucet to the sink holes

Count the holes in your sink or counter and measure from the center of the left hole to the center of the right one. Three holes 4 inches apart take a centerset faucet like the Moen 6901BG, or a single-hole faucet with a plate like the Kohler Tone. Three holes farther apart take a widespread faucet; Delta lists 6 to 16 inches for the Arvo. One hole takes a single-hole faucet.

Our bathroom faucet guide explains centerset, widespread and single-hole layouts, and our single-hole faucet guide covers more one-hole options.

Keeping a gold finish looking new

Each maker sets its own cleaning rules, so check the care sheet that comes with the faucet. A safe default is to clean with water, mild soap and a soft cloth, and dry the faucet afterward to prevent water spots. Avoid abrasive pads, scouring powders and harsh chemical cleaners unless the maker says they are safe for that finish.

Delta’s PVD claims above are its own test statements. Kohler says its finishes resist corrosion and tarnishing, and Moen backs finish defects under its homeowner warranty. Keep the receipt and register the faucet so a finish claim is easy if it ever comes up.

Matching the drain and accessories

The pop-up drain is part of the look. The Moen 6901BG and Kohler Tone include a drain, and Delta lists a push pop-up drain for the Arvo, so the drain cap usually matches out of the box. If you replace the drain later, buy it in the same maker and finish; our pop-up drain guide covers drains.

Towel bars and robe hooks from the same collection match best. Kohler lists matching Tone towel bars and hooks on its spec sheet.

Water use and flow rate

All three faucets here are 1.2 gpm models: Moen and Kohler list 1.2 gpm maximum at 60 psi on their spec sheets, and Kohler and Moen list WaterSense certification. Delta notes that its WaterSense labeled faucets use at least 20 percent less water than the industry standard. A 1.2 gpm bathroom faucet is normal today and fills a sink a little more slowly than an old 2.2 gpm faucet.

If the stream ever gets weak or sprays sideways, the aerator is the first thing to clean. Our aerator cleaning guide shows how.

Mixing gold with other metals

Some people pair gold with black or nickel accents, and some makers offer two-tone finishes, such as Kohler’s Matte Black with Moderne Brass for the Tone. If you mix metals, keep the faucet, drain and shower trim in one gold and use the second metal for hardware like cabinet pulls or a mirror frame, so the plumbing reads as one set.

Shower and tub trim in the same finish line makes the room look planned. Check that the maker sells your shower valve trim in the same gold before you commit to a finish.

Installing a gold faucet without scratching it

Gold finishes show tool marks. Tighten the mounting nuts from below with a basin wrench, wrap any wrench that touches a visible part with tape or a cloth, and avoid pliers on the finished body. Our faucet installation guide walks through the steps.

Check the deck thickness against the faucet’s limit, such as Kohler’s 2-inch maximum for the Tone, before you buy, especially on stone counters.
