Best Jaclo Shower Head

Choose Jaclo B730-PCH Storm for adjustable wide-to-narrow rain, or S139-PCH Frescia for a four-function head with rubber tabs on its selector ring. Both checked versions are Polished Chrome with a 2.5 GPM maker selection. Check control reach, the full head envelope and your required flow version before ordering.

Plumbing Picks is reader-supported. As an Amazon Associate, we earn from qualifying purchases at no extra cost to you.

This document-based comparison uses current Jaclo product records, both linked cut-sheet drawings and the maker’s care guidance. We checked new Amazon offers separately and did not test the heads.

The Storm cut sheet (papernetsolutions.com) and Frescia cut sheet (papernetsolutions.com) show the dimensions and connection callouts. Storm’s lever extends beyond its round head. Leave room for that control instead of using the face diameter as the entire clearance envelope.

Both selected maker pages show 2.5 GPM in the flow selector for these unsuffixed models. Lower-flow versions are separate selections with different model numbers. The checked finish is Polished Chrome, code PCH.

B730-PCH Storm: adjustable rain with a side control

Choose the Jaclo B730-PCH Storm if you want to adjust a rain pattern from wide to narrow using the pictured side control. The maker page (jaclo.com) describes a brass showerhead, eight adjustable jets with 64 individual sprays, and an adjustable brass ball joint.

The head is listed as 3-1/2 inches. Its drawing also shows a 4-1/2-inch reference width across the assembly including the control, plus a 4-15/16-inch reference overall height. The narrower head therefore does not mean every part stays inside a 3-1/2-inch circle.

Skip it if you want Frescia’s four-function selector, need a handheld head, or cannot comfortably reach the side control at your installed shower-arm height. Also choose a separately verified lower-flow model if 2.5 GPM does not meet your requirements.

The checked standard new B730-PCH offer was sold by eFaucets, showed stock and had an add-to-cart button on October 15, 2026. The model and manufacturer part number both matched B730-PCH, with Polished Chrome selected. This nonpowered offer passed the model and availability check.

S139-PCH Frescia: four functions on a grip ring

Choose the Jaclo S139-PCH Frescia if you want several spray functions and a ring with rubber grip tabs. The current maker page (jaclo.com) calls it the Frescia Light Grey Face Showerhead and lists four functions on a 4-inch face.

The checked Amazon title uses the name Frescia II. Its full model and manufacturer part number match S139-PCH, and Polished Chrome is selected. Use that exact identity when comparing the offer with the current maker record rather than assuming every Frescia-named head has the same face or flow selection.

The drawing (papernetsolutions.com) marks a 4-3/4-inch overall dimension in its illustrated orientation. Jaclo recommends this model for use with its 60-degree showerarms 8041 and 8043. That is useful planning information, not a statement that either arm is included in the accepted head-only offer.

Skip it if you want Storm’s documented wide-to-narrow rain adjustment instead of a four-function ring, need a hose and handshower, or cannot reach the selector comfortably. The grip tabs do not establish how much hand force the control requires.

The new offer checked on October 15, 2026 was sold by Faucets and More, showed stock and an add-to-cart button, and matched S139-PCH in both model fields. We did not install it or test the spray modes.

Choose the control you can reach

Start with the way you actually plan to change the spray. Storm provides the maker’s wide-to-narrow rain adjustment. Frescia provides four functions selected at the ring. These are different control choices rather than a simple ranking by the number of visible nozzles.

Stand where you normally shower and check the existing arm height and distance from the wall. Consider whether a side control or the perimeter of a 4-inch face will be easier to reach. Do that before choosing a larger head simply because it looks more substantial in a product photograph.

The drawings show physical head dimensions. They do not give a measured spray width at your shoulder height, a tested rinse time, or the pressure at your plumbing. This guide does not turn head diameter, jet count or a spray name into those performance results.

If you want to lower the head into your hand, neither of these fixed models supplies that function. Use our handheld shower head guide to compare that format. Decide on the format before buying separate accessories around the wrong head.

Match the flow version, not just the family name

The current pages select 2.5 GPM for B730-PCH and S139-PCH. The Storm family also lists 2.0 and 1.75 GPM choices, while Frescia lists those and 1.5 GPM. Those are catalogue choices, not extra flow settings supplied by the spray-control ring. This does not claim that every spray mode delivers an identical measured flow; we did not measure individual modes.

Check the whole model number when choosing another flow version. A number such as B730-2.0-PCH is a different selection from B730-PCH. A page describing the whole family does not establish that the exact offer linked here has the lower flow rate.

Do not transfer the Storm sheet’s WaterSense statement for its 1.75 GPM version to the unsuffixed model. We make no certification claim for either accepted offer. If a particular flow rating or certification is essential, match that requirement to the exact alternative before ordering.

We have not measured either head’s water delivery in a home. A new head is not presented as a repair for a supply restriction or valve problem. Our shower pressure troubleshooting guide is a separate starting point when the concern is a change in the existing shower’s performance.

Check the joint and the space around the head

Both maker sheets specify a 1/2-inch IPS adjustable brass ball joint. That joint allows the head angle to change. The documents used here do not establish a numerical swivel range or guarantee that either head will clear every wall, enclosure or shower caddy. The 60-degree arm recommendation for Frescia describes the arm, not a 60-degree adjustment range for its ball joint.

Compare your existing arm connection with the specified joint and check the complete head position. Account for the Storm lever and for the Frescia ring where your hand will reach it. An assembly can clear a nearby surface while still leaving too little room to operate its control comfortably.

Keep the drawing’s view in mind when comparing dimensions. The head moves with the ball joint, so a vertical dimension in the illustration is not a promise of the same drop in every installed angle. Neither drawing gives the finished outlet height for your particular arm.

Verify the supplied package and instructions before starting a replacement. These links identify showerheads, not a complete shower system with valve, arm, wall flange or hose. If the existing arm moves at the wall or the connection is unclear, resolve that condition before treating the job as a straightforward head swap.

Protect the Polished Chrome finish

Jaclo’s care instructions (jaclo.com) call for a soft damp cloth and mild soap-based detergent, followed by rinsing and drying. They warn against abrasive cleaners, bleach, disinfectants and products containing alcohol, ammonia, hydrochloric acid or phosphoric acid.

Use that finish guidance when deciding how the head will be maintained. A cleaner that is convenient for another bathroom surface is not automatically suitable for the showerhead. This guide does not prescribe a vinegar soak, a descaling concentration or a disassembly procedure.

The Storm sheet names an easy-clean flush system. That label does not mean the finish can tolerate any cleaning chemical or that the head never needs care. Likewise, Frescia’s rubber grip tabs are a control feature, not evidence that the entire head is made from rubber.

The current maker pages identify PCH as Polished Chrome. Recheck that suffix if changing an Amazon variant. Similar-looking nickel, satin chrome and chrome finishes should not be treated as the same finish merely because a photograph looks silver.

Frequently asked questions

Which Jaclo pick has a side spray control?

The B730-PCH Storm drawing shows a side control, and the maker describes adjustment from wide to narrow rain. Allow space for the lever as well as the round head.

Does S139-PCH have four flow-rate settings?

No. The maker lists four spray functions. The catalogue’s GPM choices refer to separate flow versions, not four water-flow ratings supplied by the selector ring.

Are these the 1.75 GPM versions?

No. The current maker pages select 2.5 GPM for the checked B730-PCH and S139-PCH models. Lower-flow selections have different full model numbers and require separate offer checks.

Is a shower arm included?

This guide does not establish an included arm for either checked head-only offer. Confirm package contents and the current installation sheet before buying additional parts.

Can I clean the chrome with bleach?

Jaclo warns against bleach and abrasive cleaners. Its routine care calls for a soft damp cloth, mild soap-based detergent, rinsing and drying.

How we chose

We read both current exact-model pages and confirmed their selected 2.5 GPM options in the browser. We downloaded and visually inspected both one-page cut sheets and read Jaclo’s current care instructions. We compared controls, physical clearance and full flow-model identity rather than repeating pressure or comfort claims. New Amazon offers were checked on October 15, 2026 for exact model and part number, finish, seller, stock and cart availability. No installation, spray-force, rinse-speed or durability testing was performed. Read our selection method and about Plumbing Picks.
