Oil-rubbed bronze is a dark brown shower finish. Moen calls it Oil Rubbed Bronze (ORB), Delta calls its version Venetian Bronze (RB) and Kohler calls it Oil-Rubbed Bronze (2BZ). Moen 6345EPORB: 8-inch rain head, 1.75 gpm
Choose the Moen 6345EP for a large single-spray rain head at 1.75 gpm. Moen’s spec sheet (maker page: assets.moen.com/shared/docs/product-specifications/6345sp.pdf) (10/19) lists a single-function rainfall showerhead with a nonmetallic spray face and shell, a brass swivel ball and an 8-inch face. EP models made after June 30, 2018 are limited to 1.75 gpm and are WaterSense certified.

Moen 3638ORB: four functions, 2.5 gpm
Choose the Moen 3638 for four spray functions where 2.5 gpm is allowed. Moen’s spec sheet (maker page: assets.moen.com/shared/docs/product-specifications/3638sp.pdf) (Rev. 12/17) lists a fixed-mount head with a nonmetallic spray face and shell, a brass swivel ball and four functions: massage, fine, full and combined, chosen by rotating the outer ring. It lists a 4-3/8-inch face and a 2-9/16-inch depth.
The standard 3638 is designed for 2.5 gpm at 60 psi; only 3638EP models are 1.75 gpm and WaterSense. The linked 3638ORB has no EP suffix, so it is the 2.5 gpm version. On October 15, 2026, the standard new offer sold by Amazon.com was in stock with model 3638ORB.

Delta 52669-RB: five settings with H2Okinetic
Choose the Delta 52669 for H2Okinetic spray and a pause setting. Delta’s spec sheet (media.deltafaucet.com) (Rev. D) lists five settings chosen with a push button: H2Okinetic PowerDrench, full body, full spray with massage, massaging and pause. Delta notes the pause is a non-positive shut-off.
It lists a 1.75 gpm flow at 80 psi, a 6-inch face, a metal ball connector that swivels 44 degrees, Touch-Clean spray holes and EPA WaterSense, with a lifetime limited warranty on parts and finish for residential buyers. Choose the Delta 52680 for an 8-3/16-inch raincan, if your area allows 2.5 gpm. Delta’s spec sheet (media.deltafaucet.com) (Rev. E) lists three settings changed by a dial: full body, full spray with massage and massaging, a 2.5 gpm maximum flow at 80 psi, a metal ball connector and a 1/2-14 NPT fitting.
It lists Touch-Clean spray holes and a 4-11/16-inch depth. The sheet does not list WaterSense. On October 15, 2026, the standard new offer sold by Amazon.com showed limited stock with model 52680-RB, Venetian Bronze.

Kohler Flipside K-45427-G-2BZ: turn the head to change spray
Choose the Flipside for four sprays you change by rotating the head. Kohler’s spec sheet (resources.kohler.com) lists Flipstream technology with four spray patterns, Koverage, Kotton, Komotion and Kurrent, changed by turning the head on its axis, a 1.75 gpm maximum flow and a 1/2-14 NPT connection, with the shower arm and flange sold separately.

The Moen 6345EP, Delta 52669 and Kohler Flipside are 1.75 gpm and WaterSense listed. The Moen 3638ORB and Delta 52680 are 2.5 gpm, the federal maximum, and are not WaterSense listed on their sheets. Matching bronze trim
Each maker’s bronze is its own finish: Moen ORB, Delta RB and Kohler 2BZ. If your valve trim, tub spout or handheld shower is already bronze, buy the head from the same maker and finish code. Spray controls and cleaning
Each head changes sprays differently. Moen uses a rotating outer ring on the 3638; the 6345EP has one spray. Delta uses a push button on the 52669 and a dial on the 52680. Kohler’s Flipside changes spray when you turn the whole head on its axis. For cleaning, Delta lists Touch-Clean spray holes on both of its heads, and Kohler recommends its K-23723 faucet cleaner for the Flipside. Moen’s sheets do not describe a nozzle-cleaning feature. Installation
All five use a standard 1/2-inch connection. Unscrew the old head, clean the arm threads, wrap them with thread seal tape and hand-tighten the new head; if you need a wrench, wrap the jaws with a cloth to protect the bronze finish. See our thread seal tape guide.
