This guide compares three Delta bar faucets using Delta’s own spec sheets and product pages. A bar faucet is a smaller faucet for a wet bar, island prep sink or butler’s pantry, often with a shorter spout than a kitchen faucet to suit a small bowl.

Essa 9913-DSTSingle handle, pull-down sprayer6-5/8 in.; 14-1/2 in. overall1.8 gpm at 60 psi
Trinsic 1959LFSingle handle, standard spoutnot stated as reach on the sheet; 11-1/2 in. overall1.5 gpm at 60 psi

All three install in one hole, with an optional escutcheon to cover three holes. The main choice is whether your bar or prep sink needs a pull-down sprayer, which the Essa adds, and how much clearance you have under cabinets or shelves above the sink.

Delta 14882LF: simple single-hole bar faucet

Choose the Delta 14882LF for a clean, simple bar faucet with a full swivel. Delta’s spec sheet (media.deltafaucet.com) lists 1.5 gpm at 60 psi, one- or three-hole mounting with the optional RP103661 escutcheon, a spout that rotates 360°, a ceramic disc cartridge, and polymer-braided flexible supply hoses with 3/8-inch compression connections. The drawing shows an 11-1/2-inch overall height, a 7-15/16-inch spout clearance, a 6-3/4-inch reach, a 1-1/4 to 1-1/2-inch hole, a deck up to 2-1/2 inches thick and at least 1-3/4 inches of clearance to the backsplash.

Delta’s product page (deltafaucet.com) lists the SpotShield finish on the -SP version, which it says resists water spots and fingerprints, and ADA compliance.

Delta Essa 9913-DST: pull-down sprayer for a prep sink

Choose the Essa 9913-DST if your prep sink needs a sprayer. Delta’s spec sheet (media.deltafaucet.com) lists a single-handle pull-down with a two-function wand (aerated stream or spray), MagnaTite magnetic docking, a Touch-Clean sprayhead, a diamond-coated ceramic cartridge, a 360° spout, dual integral check valves in the sprayer, 3/8-inch straight PEX supply lines and 1.8 gpm at 60 psi. For the 9913 prep model, the drawing shows a 14-1/2-inch overall height, a 9-5/32-inch spout clearance and a 6-5/8-inch reach.

Delta’s product page (deltafaucet.com) lists a 20-inch retractable hose. The escutcheon for three-hole sinks is included with Delta’s kitchen versions but ordered separately for the prep model. This is the tallest faucet here, so check the clearance under any shelf above the sink.

On October 15, 2026, the standard new offer sold by Amazon.com showed limited stock with model 9913-AR-DST, Arctic Stainless.

Delta Trinsic 1959LF: compact contemporary

Choose the Trinsic 1959LF for a compact contemporary bar faucet. Delta’s spec sheet (media.deltafaucet.com) lists a solid brass body, a ceramic disc cartridge, an ADA-compliant lever handle, a deck up to 2-1/2 inches thick, 5/16-inch copper supply tubes with 1/2-inch adapters, an optional RP77702 escutcheon, and 1.5 gpm at 60 psi. The drawing shows an 11-1/2-inch overall height.

One conflict to note: the spec sheet lists a 360° rotating spout, while Delta’s product page (deltafaucet.com) says the standard spout swivels 120°. Plan on the smaller 120° figure if you need the spout to reach two bowls. Its supply connection also differs from the other two: copper tubes with 1/2-inch adapters rather than 3/8-inch compression hoses.

On October 15, 2026, the standard new offer sold by South Ave East LLC showed limited stock with model 1959LF, chrome.

Which Delta bar faucet for which job?

For a wet bar where you mostly fill glasses, rinse shakers and run a little water, the 14882LF covers it with a simple lever and a spout that swings all the way around. Its 7-15/16-inch spout clearance leaves room for a tall glass or a small pitcher.

For an island or pantry prep sink where you wash produce, rinse colanders or fill a pot, the Essa’s pull-down wand earns its place. It has the most clearance under the spout, 9-5/32 inches, and the wand switches between an aerated stream and a spray. It is also the only one of the three with a higher 1.8 gpm flow.

For a small bar sink where the faucet mostly needs to look neat and stay out of the way, the Trinsic’s compact shape suits it, as long as the 120° swivel on Delta’s product page is enough to cover the bowl.

Clearance, reach and holes

Bar sinks often sit under shelves or upper cabinets, so overall height matters. The 14882LF and Trinsic are both about 11-1/2 inches tall; the Essa pull-down is 14-1/2 inches. Measure from the counter to the underside of anything above the sink before choosing.

All three mount in one 1-1/4 to 1-1/2-inch hole. If your sink has three holes from an old faucet, order the escutcheon Delta lists for each: RP103661 for the 14882LF, RP77702 for the Trinsic, and the separately ordered plate for the Essa prep model.

Supply connections and installation

The 14882LF and Essa connect with 3/8-inch compression fittings, the common size for under-sink stops. The Trinsic uses 5/16-inch copper tubes with 1/2-inch adapters, so check your stops before buying it. Turn off the stops, remove the old faucet, set the new one with its mounting hardware, connect the supplies and check for leaks with the water on. Our under-sink shutoff valve guide and supply line guide cover the parts beneath the sink.

All three carry Delta’s lifetime limited warranty on parts and finish for residential buyers, with shorter terms for commercial users listed on each sheet, and all three list ASME A112.18.1/CSA B125.1 and ICC/ANSI A117.1 compliance. Keep the model number from the box for ordering parts later; the 9913-DST product page links a parts diagram.
