Best Kingston Brass Kitchen Faucet

Choose the Kingston Brass KB1791ALBS for adjustable 8–16-inch outer inlet spacing, or the KS1271ALBS for a bridge with fixed 8-inch outer inlet centers and a higher outlet. Both checked Polished Chrome models use a separate side sprayer and are described by the maker as four-hole installations. Match the complete deck pattern and under-sink connections before buying.

The KB1791ALBS drawing (media.kingstonbrass.com) shows separate handle bodies linked below the deck to the spout. The KS1271ALBS drawing (media.kingstonbrass.com) shows the bridge above the deck, two outer inlets and a center support and spray connection. Each exact maker page describes a four-hole installation with a separate side sprayer.

Both current pages list brass construction, a swivel spout and a 1.8 GPM spout flow rate at 60 PSI. The principal choices here are mounting geometry and outlet height. We did not test flow, splash behavior, finish durability or handle effort.

KB1791ALBS: choose adjustable widespread spacing

Choose the Kingston Brass KB1791ALBS when the maker’s 8–16-inch widespread pattern matches your top and you want the lower outlet in this pair. Its current maker page (kingstonbrass.com) and linked drawing give a 9-1/16-inch reach, 6-5/16-inch spout clearance and 9-3/8-inch overall spout height.

The adjustment range applies between the separate handle-body centerlines. It is not a fixed 16-inch overall faucet width or permission to place every component anywhere on the deck. Check the center spout position, both handles and the separate sprayer position together.

Look below the sink as well. The parts diagram (media.kingstonbrass.com) shows two interconnecting hoses, a tee and the separate side-spray hose. Those connections occupy space below the center spout and valves, even when the visible deck looks open and uncluttered.

Skip it if you want the connected above-deck bridge shape, if the existing layout falls outside the maker’s range, or if the lower outlet does not provide the space you need over the bowl. A similar Heritage finish does not make the bridge and widespread bodies interchangeable.

The new Polished Chrome offer checked on October 15, 2026 was sold by Buildcom through Amazon, showed stock and had an add-to-cart button. Model and manufacturer part number both read KB1791ALBS. Amazon’s title calls it an “8-Inch Centerset” faucet; Kingston’s exact model page and drawing identify the adjustable widespread arrangement. The listing UPC matches the maker’s exact product record. Recheck the complete KB1791ALBS model and Polished Chrome selection when ordering; do not choose a different listing variant solely because it uses the same style label.

KS1271ALBS: choose the taller bridge layout

Choose the Kingston Brass KS1271ALBS when its fixed 8-inch outer inlet centers and taller bridge fit the intended sink deck. The model drawing (media.kingstonbrass.com) shows a 13-inch overall spout height, 10-inch outlet clearance and the same 9-1/16-inch reach as the widespread model.

The greater outlet height may be useful when comparing a tall item with the space above the mounting surface. Include the sink’s actual rim and bowl position in that comparison. A 13-inch overall faucet height does not mean 13 inches of space below the outlet.

The bridge connects the handles above the deck and has a center support and connection in the drawing. Check the complete four-hole layout, including the separate side sprayer. This is not a two-hole wall-mount bridge or a single-hole pull-down faucet.

Skip it if you need adjustable outer inlet spacing beyond the shown 8 inches, if the middle or sprayer position cannot match the top, or if the taller spout conflicts with a shelf, window or cabinet. Check handle movement and the planned spout sweep too.

A four-hole label does not prove replacement fit

Start with the positions and sizes of the existing openings. The current maker pages call both faucets four-hole models, but their outer inlet spacing differs. The KB1791ALBS uses an 8–16-inch range; the KS1271ALBS drawing shows 8 inches between its outer inlets.

Measure from mounting centerline to mounting centerline, not from one outside handle edge to the other. Handles extend beyond their mounting points and change position during use. Neither the overall visual width nor the distance across the bridge is a substitute for the inlet-center measurement.

Check the middle position and side-sprayer opening separately. The 8-inch bridge dimension is not a promise that every neighboring pair of its four holes is 8 inches apart. The side sprayer has its own guide and below-deck hose. An existing soap-dispenser hole, a fixed sink ledge or an unusual hole arrangement may not put that guide where the model needs it.

Use the delivered faucet and current instructions when confirming the top. These checks are for selection, not directions to drill or alter a sink or countertop. For a single-handle or pull-down layout instead, see our broader kitchen faucet guide.

Treat the 60-inch spray hose as a part length

Both exact maker pages list a brass side sprayer with a 60-inch hose. That describes a separate handheld spray component beside the main faucet. It is not a pull-down head that docks at the end of the main spout.

The hose length does not mean you have 60 inches of usable spray travel above the counter. Some of its path runs below the deck and between the sprayer guide and its faucet connection. Check the available route around the cabinet, waste parts and stored items.

The widespread guide (media.kingstonbrass.com) and bridge guide (media.kingstonbrass.com) illustrate the separate hose and guide arrangement. Keep that model-specific path in mind when comparing an existing sink. A nominal hose length cannot establish that the sprayer will reach every corner of a large or offset bowl.

Both current pages describe a swivel spout, but this comparison does not assign a rotation angle that the selected records do not specify. Compare the intended sweep with the bowl, backsplash and anything stored beside the sink.

Keep supply, internal hose and cartridge records separate

The maker pages identify 1/2-14 NPSM supply connections. Preserve the complete thread designation when matching parts. The widespread diagram separately labels its spout connection as 3/8-18 NPSM; that internal connection is not the household supply inlet.

The KB1791ALBS guide specifically says the inlet flexible supply lines are not included. Its two interconnecting hoses serve the separate valves and spout tee. Do not assume those pictured hoses are the lines needed from the household shutoff valves.

The bridge has a different body arrangement. Its parts diagram (media.kingstonbrass.com) shows the above-deck bridge and center spray connection. Follow the exact model’s parts record when checking connections and service parts rather than borrowing the widespread hose arrangement.

The current KB1791ALBS page describes washerless cartridges; the KS1271ALBS page describes ceramic-disc cartridges. Those are documented differences, not proof that one lasts longer or cannot drip. Keep KB1791ALBS and KS1271ALBS distinct when ordering parts.

Check the mounting stack and access under the top. A drawn threaded-shank length does not establish the maximum usable deck thickness after washers, nuts and connections are accounted for. Have the installer verify the actual model against the sink and countertop.

Use the documented clearance and a simple care routine

For the widespread model, the maker’s drawing distinguishes 9-3/8 inches of overall height from 6-5/16 inches of outlet clearance. For the bridge, those dimensions are 13 and 10 inches. The same 9-1/16-inch reach does not make the two outlets occupy the same vertical space.

Compare the outlet with the sink rim and the items you wash. The available space depends on where the bowl sits relative to the faucet’s mounting surface. Our kitchen sink guide covers bowl and mounting choices if the sink is also being replaced.

Both linked installation guides recommend mild soap and water, drying after use and avoiding abrasive cleaning agents. Use care guidance for the selected finish. The checked offers are Polished Chrome; a different family finish needs its own model, offer and care check.

The shared 1.8 GPM rating is specifically a spout-flow rating at 60 PSI on the maker pages. It does not establish the side-sprayer flow rate or a measurement of your home’s pressure. We did not test either faucet or its sprayer.

Choose the widespread KB1791ALBS for its adjustable outer spacing and lower outlet, or the bridge KS1271ALBS for its fixed outer centers and taller outlet. Confirm the complete deck pattern and under-sink space before selecting by appearance alone.

Frequently asked questions

Which model has adjustable outer inlet spacing?

The KB1791ALBS drawing shows 8–16 inches between the separate handle-body centers. The KS1271ALBS bridge drawing shows 8-inch outer inlet centers.

Does the taller bridge have more spout reach?

No. Both maker drawings show a 9-1/16-inch reach. The bridge has a higher outlet: 10 inches above the mounting surface versus 6-5/16 inches for the widespread model.

Is the side sprayer a pull-down faucet head?

No. Both selected models have a separate side sprayer and guide. The main spout does not serve as a pull-down spray-head dock.

Does the 60-inch hose provide 60 inches of usable reach?

Not necessarily. The listed length includes hose routed below the top and between its connections. Check the actual route and movement in the cabinet.

Can I use one model’s service parts for the other?

Do not assume that. The KB1791ALBS and KS1271ALBS have different bodies and documented cartridge descriptions. Use the exact model’s current parts diagram and component identification.

How we chose

We read both exact current maker pages and inspected all eight pages of their linked specification drawings, parts diagrams and two-page installation guides as images. We checked new Amazon offers for complete model and manufacturer part number, Polished Chrome finish, stock, cart and seller on October 15, 2026. The KB1791ALBS Amazon title uses a centerset label, but its exact model and UPC match Kingston’s public product record; the maker’s drawing defines the widespread geometry used here. The picks are configuration choices, not tested performance rankings. Read our selection method and about Plumbing Picks.
