Oil-rubbed bronze is a dark brown faucet finish. Moen calls it Oil Rubbed Bronze and codes it ORB; Delta calls its version Venetian Bronze and codes it RB. Moen Brantford 7185ORB: pull-down with Power Boost
Choose the Brantford for a Moen pull-down with Power Boost in oil-rubbed bronze. Moen’s spec sheet (maker page: assets.moen.com/shared/docs/product-specifications/7185sp.pdf) (Rev. 6/18) lists the Reflex pull-down system, metal construction, Duralock quick connect, a Power Boost button for boosted stream and spray, a 68-inch braided hose, a 360-degree spout, a lever handle, the 1255 Duralast cartridge and a 1.5 gpm standard flow at 60 psi.
It lists a 15-1/2-inch height, a 7-7/8-inch reach, a 2-1/2-inch maximum deck and a 10-1/4 by 2-3/8-inch escutcheon, and installs through 1 or 3 holes of 1-1/2 inches. The sheet notes there is more than one version; an older Rev. 9/17 version lists Power Clean with a pause feature. Choose the Belfield for a Moen high-arc pull-down from the Belfield line. Moen ORB or Delta Venetian Bronze?
Moen and Delta name and code their dark bronze finishes differently, so they may not match each other. If you are matching a bronze sink, cabinet hardware or a bathroom faucet, buy from the same maker and check the finish code: ORB for Moen, RB for Delta. Delta’s Amazon titles call the RB finish oil-rubbed bronze, but Delta’s sheets list it by suffix only.
Spray and docking
Both Moens use the Reflex docking system and a Power Boost button for boosted stream and spray. Both Deltas use MagnaTite magnetic docking, Touch-Clean spray holes and ShieldSpray; the Ophelia has a two-function wand and the Capertee a three-function pull-down. Holes, deck and clearance
All four list a 2-1/2-inch maximum deck. The Moens and the Ophelia install through 1 or 3 holes; the Capertee through 1 to 4 holes, with its soap dispenser able to use the fourth. Delta lists 2-1/2 inches of minimum clearance to the backsplash on both of its faucets. Measure from the faucet hole to the wall and to any window before ordering. Supply lines and cartridges
The Moens list flexible supply lines with 3/8-inch compression fittings and the 1255 Duralast cartridge. The Deltas list 3/8-inch PEX supply lines with compression fittings and a diamond-coated ceramic cartridge, which Delta markets as DIAMOND Seal.
