Match the faucet to your sink holes
Count the holes and measure between the outer ones. One hole: the Weller LG42, mounted without its plate. Three holes 4 inches apart: the Chatfield 7413101 with its deck plate, or the Weller LG42 with its optional plate. Matching bronze across the bathroom
Because each maker names and mixes its bronze differently, a faucet from one brand may not match a towel bar or shower trim from another. American Standard lists Legacy Bronze in the Chatfield line; Pfister lists finish code Y in the Weller line, and Pfister’s Weller shower trim uses the same family name. If you want every fixture to match, buy them from one maker’s line in the same finish code.
Valves and cartridges
All four list ceramic disc valves. American Standard lists quarter-turn washerless ceramic disc cartridges on both Chatfields, so the handles turn a quarter turn from off to full on. Pfister lists Pforever Seal ceramic disc valves on both Wellers. The two-handle models use one cartridge per side; the single-lever models use one. Supply lines and drains
American Standard lists supply lines included on both Chatfields. Pfister lists 32-inch integrated nylon flex supplies with 3/8-inch compression fittings on the single-control Weller.
