A widespread faucet has three separate pieces, a spout and two handles, mounted in three holes. The spacing is measured from the center of the left hole to the center of the right one; 8 inches is the common size, but many widespreads adjust across a range because the pieces connect with flexible tubes under the counter. A centerset, by contrast, puts all three on one base with holes 4 inches apart; a widespread will not fit that layout unless its range starts at 4 inches, as the Delta Saylor’s does.

Delta Saylor 3535-MPU-DST: widest spacing range

Choose the Saylor 3535 if your holes might be anywhere from 4 to 16 inches apart. Delta’s spec sheet (media.deltafaucet.com) lists 4 to 16-inch centers, the widest range here, so it can even fit a 4-inch three-hole sink. It lists diamond-coated ceramic cartridges, quarter-turn handle stops, 3/8-inch PEX supply tubes, a metal push pop-up drain with overflow, a 2-1/4-inch maximum deck and a 1.2 gpm flow.

On October 15, 2026, the standard new offer sold by Amazon.com was in stock with model 3535-MPU-DST, chrome. Our Delta Saylor guide covers the matching shower trim.

Delta Woodhurst 3532LF-MPU: metal pop-up, optional low-flow aerators

Choose the Woodhurst 3532LF for a standard 8-inch sink and the option of lower flow. Delta’s spec sheet (media.deltafaucet.com) lists 4-1/2 to 16-inch centers, solid brass end valves, interchangeable stems, quarter-turn stops, 1/2-inch NPSM adapters and a metal pop-up drain. It flows 1.2 gpm, and Delta lists optional aerators for 1.0 or 0.5 gpm.

Its 1-3/16-inch maximum deck is the thinnest here, though Delta’s RP10612 kit adds 1 inch. On October 15, 2026, the standard new offer sold by Amazon.com showed limited stock with model 3532LF-MPU, chrome.

Delta Arvo 35840LF-SP: thickest deck allowance

Choose the Arvo 35840LF for a thick stone counter. Delta’s spec sheet (media.deltafaucet.com) lists 6 to 16-inch centers, a solid brass cast spout, quarter-turn stops, interchangeable stems, 1/2-inch NPSM adapters, a plastic push pop-up drain and a 1.2 gpm flow, with a 2-3/8-inch maximum deck, the most of the five.

Holes are 1-3/16 to 1-1/2 inches, and Delta recommends 2-1/2 inches of backsplash clearance. On October 15, 2026, the standard new offer sold by Amazon.com was in stock with model 35840LF-SP, SpotShield brushed nickel.

Moen Genta LX TV6708BL: valve in the box

Choose the Genta LX TV6708 for a modern square look with the valve included. The drawing, set at 10-inch centers, shows a 5-1/2-inch spout height, 4-5/16 inches from deck to outlet and a 4-3/4-inch reach. On October 15, 2026, the standard new offer sold by Amazon.com showed a delivery date and an add-to-cart button with model TV6708BL, matte black.

Moen Gibson TV6142BL: tall spout, metal drain

Choose the Gibson TV6142 for more room under the spout. The TV listing pairs Moen’s T6142 trim with its valve; Moen’s T6142 sheet (maker page: assets.moen.com/shared/docs/product-specifications/t6142sp.pdf) lists the 9000 and 69000 valves, 1/2-inch IPS connections, a metal pop-up drain, the 1234 cartridge, lever handles that turn 90 degrees and a 1.2 gpm flow.

The drawing, set at 8-inch centers, shows an 8-5/16-inch spout height with 6 inches from the deck to the outlet, the taller of the two Moen drawings, a 5-inch reach and a 1-1/2-inch maximum deck. How to measure for a widespread faucet

Spacing. Measure from the center of the far-left hole to the center of the far-right hole. Eight inches is common. The three Delta faucets list ranges that include 8 inches; the Moen drawings are shown at 8 and 10 inches, and these Moen trim sheets do not print a spacing range, so confirm yours with Moen before ordering.

Hole size. The Delta sheets list holes from about 1-1/16 to 1-1/2 inches; the Moen sheets list 1-1/8 inches minimum for the spout and 1-1/4 inches for the valves.

Deck thickness. Measure the counter or sink deck at the holes. Thin decks suit any of these; thick stone may rule out the 1-3/16-inch Woodhurst without its extension kit.

Backsplash. Delta recommends 2-1/2 inches of clearance behind its widespreads so the handles and drain rod work.

Valve included or built in?

Delta builds the valves into these widespread faucets, so one box has everything. Moen’s “TV” listings pair separate trim and valve parts, which Moen sells together; the trim sheets name the 9000 and 69000 valves. Both approaches end with a complete faucet. Both Moen trim sheets carry the M-Pact mark and name the same 9000 and 69000 valves. The cartridges differ too: Delta lists its diamond-coated ceramic or rotating-cylinder designs per model, and Moen lists the 1234 for the Gibson.

Check these before you order

  • Spacing. Confirm your center-to-center distance falls in the range.
  • Deck. 1-3/16 to 2-3/8 inches maximum, depending on model.
  • Spout room. 4-5/16 to 6 inches from deck to outlet on the Moen drawings.
  • Drain. Metal on most; plastic push pop-up on the Arvo.
  • Finish. Match handles and drain finish to the rest of the room.
  • Flow. All 1.2 gpm.
