Best VIGO Bathroom Faucet

Choose the VIGO Noma VG01009MB for its higher 5-inch outlet, or the Satro VG01015MB for its lower 3-3/4-inch curved-spout layout, measured above the mounting surface. Both checked Matte Black faucets have a 4-7/8-inch reach in their specification drawings. Match those outlet dimensions to your sink before choosing the style.

Plumbing Picks is reader-supported. As an Amazon Associate, we earn from qualifying purchases at no extra cost to you.

This is a document-based comparison of two exact VIGO models. We read their current maker records and linked drawings and checked their standard new Amazon offers. We did not install the faucets or test splashing, finish life or valve durability.

Compare outlet clearance before overall height

Dimensions below come from the linked model specification drawings
Checked Matte Black modelSpout height above mounting surfaceSpout reachListed flow rate
Noma VG01009MB5 inches4-7/8 inches1.2 GPM
Satro VG01015MB3-3/4 inches4-7/8 inches1.2 GPM

The Noma sheet (images.salsify.com) and Satro sheet (images.salsify.com) give both models the same reach and listed flow rate. The difference relevant to hand space is the outlet height. Do not confuse that with the overall height of the faucet or the top of its handle.

Both sheets identify brass bodies and ceramic valves. The checked versions are Matte Black, identified by the MB suffix. This comparison does not claim that one valve lasts longer, that one finish resists scratches better, or that either faucet will eliminate splashing with every basin.

Noma VG01009MB: choose more outlet clearance

Choose the VIGO Noma VG01009MB if its cylindrical body and upward-angled spout suit the basin and you need the drawing’s 5-inch outlet height above the mounting surface. Its manual measurement page (images.salsify.com) also labels that outlet height and a 4-7/8-inch reach.

Compare the outlet position with the actual sink rim and bowl, not just with the vanity top. A bowl that rises above the faucet’s mounting surface reduces the remaining height above the rim. The faucet’s full height does not tell you how much room your hands have below the water outlet.

The current maker page (vigoindustries.com) lists one installation hole, a ceramic-disc valve, included handles, mounting hardware and supply lines. It says a deck plate is not included. The small round base shown in the manual’s package drawing is not evidence of a long plate that covers neighboring holes.

Skip it if the outlet cannot clear your basin rim with usable hand space, if the reach leaves the outlet in the wrong part of the bowl, or if your existing holes need a cover plate you have not matched. Also check the full handle movement against a backsplash or mirror cabinet. Handle-motion arcs in a drawing do not establish that the faucet spout swivels.

The standard new Matte Black offer checked on October 15, 2026 was sold by Buildcom through Amazon, showed stock and had an add-to-cart button. Both its model and manufacturer part-number fields read VG01009MB.

Satro VG01015MB: choose the lower, curved spout

Choose the VIGO Satro VG01015MB if you prefer its rectangular body and curved spout and its lower outlet suits the sink. The specification drawing (images.salsify.com) and manual measurement page (images.salsify.com) both show a 3-3/4-inch spout height and 4-7/8-inch reach.

That lower outlet is a real clearance difference from the Noma’s 5-inch outlet. It is not evidence that the Satro will splash less. Basin shape, mounting position and how the water meets the bowl still need to be considered together.

The current Matte Black product page (vigoindustries.com) lists a single-hole, single-handle, deck-mounted faucet with a ceramic-disc valve. It lists mounting hardware, handles and supply lines as included and says the deck plate is not included. The manual’s package drawing shows a small square base, not a long three-hole cover.

Skip it if the 3-3/4-inch outlet height leaves insufficient space above your basin rim, if you need more reach than its drawing provides, or if you need a wall-mounted or separate-handle arrangement. A short faucet can look proportionate in a photo while still being a poor match for a raised bowl.

The standard new Matte Black offer checked on October 15, 2026 was sold by Everyday Interiors through Amazon, showed stock and had an add-to-cart button. Both model and manufacturer part number read VG01015MB.

Read the drawing and web dimensions separately

Both current maker pages call the reach 5 inches. Both linked specification drawings label it 4-7/8 inches. For this comparison, the table preserves the drawing’s dimension rather than silently treating the web label as an exact measurement. We have not confirmed whether the difference is rounding or a product revision.

The Satro web copy similarly calls the spout height 4 inches, while its specification drawing and manual label 3-3/4 inches. Keep the source and measurement point attached to the number when reviewing a tight fit.

The Noma’s overall height also differs between linked documents: the specification sheet says 8 inches and the manual measurement page says 7-3/4 inches. Both label the outlet at 5 inches, but the overall-height difference remains unresolved here. If overhead clearance is tight, confirm the actual current faucet before ordering.

Reach is measured horizontally from the faucet’s mounting centerline to the outlet position shown in the drawing. Compare it with the mounting-hole position and the usable bowl opening. It is not measured from the back of the faucet base or from the backsplash.

Do not infer the exact landing point or a splash-free stream from reach alone. These are document-based dimensional checks, not water-pattern tests. For other layouts, our bathroom faucet guide covers more configurations.

Count the existing holes and check the mounting stack

These are single-hole faucets. Both specification sheets also mention one- or three-hole compatibility, while the current exact product pages say no deck plate is included. For an existing three-hole top, establish the correct separate cover plate and its coverage before treating either faucet as a complete replacement package.

Measure the existing hole pattern and inspect the underside access. A decorative base around the faucet body does not automatically cover two other openings. If you want separate hot and cold handles in those holes, choose the appropriate faucet configuration rather than expecting these single-handle models to fill that role.

Both model sheets identify a standard 1-3/8-inch opening and 3/8-inch water-supply connections. Compare those specifications with the actual opening and connection arrangement. A nominal connection size alone does not verify that every existing fitting or supply line can be reused.

The mounting stack matters as well: include the countertop, any sink deck and the space needed for the supplied mounting hardware. Check the current model’s mounting limits with the installer. Do not borrow one model’s deck-thickness limit or hardware arrangement for the other.

Both manuals say installation must be done by a qualified, licensed plumber. They also note that existing installations vary and that all supplies needed for every installation are not included. Make those checks part of selection before removing the old faucet.

Separate the faucet from drain and finish choices

The package drawings in the Noma manual (images.salsify.com) and Satro manual (images.salsify.com) show the faucet, two flexible hoses and mounting components. They do not show a sink drain assembly. Do not assume a drain in a similar bathroom-set photo is part of these checked faucet offers.

If a matching drain is needed, identify the sink’s drain and overflow arrangement separately. The faucet model and finish do not establish drain compatibility. Our sink pop-up drain guide explains why that selection needs its own check.

Keep the complete MB suffix attached to the model when ordering. Both family sheets also list CH for Chrome, BN for Brushed Nickel and MG for Matte Brushed Gold. Those are other finish selections, not additional offers that were verified in this comparison.

The two accepted offers are nonpowered faucets. Their third-party sellers are recorded above so the offer check is specific; availability and seller can change. Recheck the exact model, finish, new condition and package before ordering.

Keep finish care separate from performance promises

VIGO’s linked cleaning guide (images.salsify.com) says to avoid abrasive cleaning materials, apply a spray cleaner to a cloth or sponge instead of directly onto the faucet, and rinse thoroughly with clean water after cleaning. Follow the cleaner’s own instructions and confirm it is suitable for the finish.

The same guide contains conflicting acid-cleaning advice, so this comparison does not reproduce its vinegar recipe. Get current finish-specific guidance from VIGO before choosing a descaling treatment. Do not assume that a cleaner suitable for the basin is also suitable for the faucet coating.

Both model sheets list a 1.2 GPM flow rate. That is a manufacturer specification, not a measurement of either faucet in your home. The shared number does not establish equal splash behavior, water pressure, noise or feel. We did not measure those things, and the faucet’s appearance is not a guarantee of how it will behave in your basin.

Choose the Noma for its documented higher outlet if that fits your sink, or the Satro for its lower curved-spout layout if that fits better. Finish matching comes after the hole, reach, outlet-height, handle and package checks.

Frequently asked questions

Which checked faucet has the higher outlet?

The linked drawings label the Noma VG01009 outlet at 5 inches above the mounting surface and the Satro VG01015 outlet at 3-3/4 inches. These are outlet heights, not overall faucet heights.

Do these two models have different spout reach?

Both linked specification drawings label a 4-7/8-inch reach. The current web pages use a 5-inch label; check the actual faucet for a tight fit.

Is a three-hole cover plate included?

The current exact maker pages say the deck plate is not included. A three-hole top needs a separately confirmed plate and coverage; the small base around the faucet is not proof of that coverage.

Is a sink drain shown in the manual package drawings?

No. The drawings show the faucet, flexible hoses and mounting components. Select any needed drain assembly separately for the sink and its overflow arrangement.

Does the shared 1.2 GPM rating mean either faucet is splash-free?

No. Both sheets list 1.2 GPM, but we did not test splash behavior. Match the outlet position with the actual bowl and mounting location.

How we chose

We read the current exact Matte Black maker pages, both two-page specification sheets and both manuals’ package and measurement pages. The specification sheets and manual measurement pages were inspected as images because much of the PDF text was not extractable. We also read the English cleaning-guide page and noted its contradictory acid advice. We checked new stock/cart Amazon offers against complete model and manufacturer part number, Matte Black finish and seller on October 15, 2026.

The Noma overall-height discrepancy and the web pages’ different reach/height labels are disclosed rather than treated as exact fit guarantees. Read our selection method and about Plumbing Picks.
