Wall-Mount Bathroom Faucets

For a single-handle wall faucet, the Delta Trinsic T3559LF-WL (chrome, 1.2 gpm) pairs with Delta’s R3510-WL rough valve. For two levers, the Kohler Purist T14414-4-BN (brushed nickel, 1.2 gpm) has a 9-inch spout from wall to drain center and needs Kohler’s K-410-K wall-mount valve. Both faucets are trim only, so order the matching valve too and set it before the wall is closed.

The exposed spout is only part of the purchase. Confirm the concealed body, wall depth and stream location before selecting the finish.

These are bathroom-sink trim examples, not universal replacements or complete rough-valve packages. Confirm the exact current package and required installation parts.

The control layout affects wall openings and access. It does not establish the correct mounting height or spout position for your basin.

Delta Trinsic T3559LF-WL: a single-handle layout

Choose T3559LF-WL when its single-handle wall layout and confirmed basin pairing suit the project. The current Delta page (deltafaucet.com) identifies a two-hole wall-mount bathroom trim kit, with rough-in purchased separately.

Skip it if you have an unidentified existing valve or need a two-handle wall layout. The 2026 Rev I sheet (media.deltafaucet.com) expressly requires R3510-WL, not the similarly named R3500-WL. Delta’s R3510-WL page (deltafaucet.com) lists a lead-free brass body with valves and plaster guards and a maximum rough-in depth of 2-3/4 inches, and Delta staff confirm it is the correct rough valve for T3559LF-WL. Check the Delta R3510-WL rough valve on Amazon.

The checked standard new Amazon.com offer showed stock with T3559LF-WL in the model and manufacturer-part fields. Confirm the complete suffix; a different finish or recertified listing is not the selected new chrome model.

Kohler Purist T14414-4-BN: two lever handles

Choose T14414-4-BN when the Purist two-lever layout, compatible rough valve and confirmed reach suit the sink. The current maker page (kohler.com) identifies the selected Vibrant Brushed Nickel finish and nominal 9-inch spout configuration.

Skip it for another valve family, cross-handle configuration or an unverified basin position. The US specification dated June 2024 (resources.kohler.com) requires the K-410-K wall-mount valve, lists a 9-inch spout from wall to drain center and 1.2 gpm maximum flow, and sells the drain separately. The valve is sold as K-410-K-NA: check the Kohler K-410-K-NA valve on Amazon.

The checked standard new Amazon offer showed stock from MI Deals Beyond Belief, with T14414-4-BN in both model and manufacturer-part fields. Keep the full model separate from T14414-3 cross handles and the shorter or longer Purist spout families.

Confirm the current drawing before placing the basin. The nominal spout name is not a substitute for the finished-wall-to-outlet dimensions for the actual rough-valve position.

Plan the stream location with the actual basin

Choose the basin and faucet together. Measure from the finished wall to the usable bowl area and establish where the outlet and water stream will sit above it.

Check the front-to-back bowl shape, rim, drain position and space for hands. Reaching over the back rim does not by itself establish a comfortable or low-splash arrangement.

Also consider the stream’s angle and the basin’s slope. A nominal spout length does not tell you exactly where moving water will strike, especially when the outlet is angled.

Have the actual faucet, basin drawing and finished-wall position checked together before committing to plumbing or counter cutouts. This guide does not promise splash-free performance from either trim.

Set height from the fixture, not a universal number

For a vessel sink, measure the completed vessel rim above the finished counter. For an undermount or integrated basin, use its actual finished rim and bowl arrangement.

Then apply the faucet’s exact installation limits and the requirements for the project. Do not copy a mounting height intended for a different sink, faucet or counter thickness.

The Kohler sheet includes its own spout-to-fixture-rim limits. Those product-specific limits should not be turned into a universal wall-faucet height or transferred to the Delta trim.

If the sink is also wall mounted, coordinate its carrier or hangers, intended rim height and drain route separately. Our wall-hung sink guide covers that related support decision.

Finished-wall depth can determine whether trim fits

Locate the rough valve using the complete intended wall build-up. Backer, waterproofing, adhesive and tile can change the finished surface from the framing reference.

Use the exact rough-valve and trim drawings together. A handle can appear too short or a spout can project incorrectly when the body was positioned for a different wall thickness.

Confirm the required mounting support and wall openings before closing the wall. Do not assume a decorative flange can cover an opening of any size or correct an incorrectly located valve.

For an existing installation, identify the actual body before choosing a new trim. Collection names and similar finishes are not evidence of cross-brand or cross-generation compatibility.

A trim-only package needs a complete parts list

Write down the exact rough valve, trim, drain, basin and any separately required connections or installation materials. Check what is supplied with each current model.

A product photo may show a complete finished bathroom while the selected box contains only the exposed faucet trim. Read the actual included-parts information rather than relying on the scene.

Match the drain to the sink’s overflow arrangement and mounting requirements. Our pop-up drain guide covers that separate choice.

Do not add a drain merely because its finish resembles the faucet. Check its actual fit, operation and service access in the selected sink and cabinet.

Keep a practical plan for future service

Find out which service components can be reached from the room and which connections may require another access route. A wall-mounted faucet is not automatically serviceable without disturbing finishes.

Review the exact installation and maintenance documents before closing the wall. Delta’s currently linked Rev C instructions (media.deltafaucet.com) explicitly identify both T3558LF-WL and T3559LF-WL and the required R3510-WL.

Keep the rough-body model, trim model, finish and instructions together. A future repair is easier to identify when the concealed body is documented alongside the visible trim.

Plan the appropriate water isolation and leak-checking arrangements for the actual installation. Do not assume a wall-mounted location eliminates the need to reach service valves or inspect connections.

Choose controls and finish after confirming the geometry

Once the basin pairing, rough-body position and service plan are confirmed, compare how the handles will be used. Check reach, clearance and whether another person can operate them comfortably.

Allow space around the handle’s full travel and around nearby mirrors, backsplashes or accessories. A single handle and two separate handles can require different clear space.

The selected chrome and brushed-nickel finishes illustrate available models, not a measured durability ranking. Use the exact maker’s care guidance and confirm replacement-part availability.

Finally, check the entire package against the project drawing before installation. Catching a wrong rough valve or spout family before wall finishes go in can avoid much more work than exchanging the trim afterward.

Frequently asked questions

Does wall-mount bathroom faucet trim include the rough valve?

Confirm the exact package. Both selected trim examples require a separately specified rough valve: Delta R3510-WL or Kohler K-410-K.

Does Delta T3559LF-WL use R3500-WL?

The current maker specification requires R3510-WL. Do not substitute the similarly named two-handle rough valve.

Is there one correct mounting height for every wall faucet?

No. Coordinate the actual faucet, basin rim, finished counter and applicable installation requirements.

Does a nominal 9-inch spout guarantee the stream lands at the drain?

No. Check the finished-wall datum, actual outlet position, stream angle and basin shape together.

Does a wall faucet include the sink drain?

Check the exact package and sink. The featured Kohler sheet identifies no included drain, and drain selection remains a separate compatibility decision.

How we chose

This document-based comparison makes no hands-on testing claim. We checked current Delta and Kohler product pages, Delta’s linked 2026 Rev I specification and January 2024 Rev C instructions, and Kohler’s June 2024 US specification drawing. On October 14, 2026, both linked standard new Amazon offers showed stock with matching model and manufacturer-part fields. Basin fit and installation height require the actual project drawings; no splash or field-performance test was performed. Read our selection method and about Plumbing Picks.
