American Standard sells each pedestal sink in three faucet-hole patterns: 4-inch centerset, 8-inch widespread and single hole. This guide compares the 4-inch centerset versions; check your faucet’s hole pattern before ordering. If your faucet is widespread, order the 8-inch version of the same sink instead.

American Standard Cadet 0236.411: the widest bowl

Choose the Cadet for the widest bowl here, 20 inches across. American Standard’s spec sheet (lixil.cdn.celum.cloud) lists a vitreous china lavatory and pedestal, a rear overflow, a faucet ledge with generous shelf area, a mounting kit, faucet holes on 4-inch centers, a 24-1/2 × 20 × 35-inch overall size and a bowl 20 inches wide, 12 inches front to back and 6 inches deep.

The drawing shows a 35-inch overall height and suggests supply and trap locations. American Standard notes the pedestal anchoring screws are not included and that wall supports need suitable reinforcement. The pedestal leg is also sold separately as part 731100-400.

American Standard Evolution 22 0467.400: the smallest footprint

Choose the Evolution 22 for a smaller bathroom. American Standard’s spec sheet (lixil.cdn.celum.cloud) lists a vitreous china lavatory and pedestal, a rear overflow, a faucet ledge with generous shelf area, a mounting kit, a 22 × 17-1/2 × 34-1/4-inch overall size and an 18-1/4 × 11-inch bowl, 6 inches deep, with three 1-3/8-inch holes for the 4-inch-centers version.

At 22 inches wide and 17-1/2 inches deep, it is the smallest of the three. The pedestal is available separately as part 731150-400, and anchor screws are not included.

American Standard Boulevard 0641.400: Right Height, flat-bottom bowl

Choose the Boulevard for a taller, rectangular pedestal sink. American Standard’s spec sheet (lixil.cdn.celum.cloud) lists a classic styled rectangular vitreous china lavatory, a rear overflow, a mounting kit, Right Height for greater comfort, a faucet ledge with a large deck area, a 24 × 19 × 35-1/2-inch overall size and a 17 × 12-1/2-inch bowl, 5 inches deep. It coordinates with the Boulevard toilet.

The sheet adds that the basin has a flat bottom so it can also be used above a counter or as a drop-in sink with a U-shaped cutout. At 35-1/2 inches, it is the tallest of the three. The pedestal alone is part 0010.000.

On October 15, 2026, the standard new offer sold by Homestead Supply & More showed limited stock with part 0641400.020, white.

Size, height and bowl

Measure the space first. The Evolution is the most compact at 22 × 17-1/2 inches; the Cadet and Boulevard are 24 to 24-1/2 inches wide and 19 to 20 inches deep. Height runs from 34-1/4 inches (Evolution) to 35-1/2 inches (Boulevard). The Cadet has the widest bowl at 20 inches; the Boulevard has the shallowest at 5 inches.

Colors and separate parts

The sheets list more colors than most retailers stock. The Cadet sheet lists white, bone, linen, silver, fawn beige and black; the Evolution sheet lists white, bone and linen; the Boulevard sheet lists white and linen. The Amazon offers linked here are all white (finish code .020).

Each sink is also sold as separate pieces, which helps if one part is chipped or you want a different hole pattern on the same pedestal. The Cadet top comes as 0236.004 (4-inch), 0236.008 (8-inch) or 0236.001 (single hole), with the leg as 731100-400. The Evolution top is 0467.004, .008 or .001, with the pedestal 731150-400. The Boulevard top is 0641.004, .008 or .001, with the pedestal 0010.000.

Which one should you buy?

If space is tight, the Evolution 22 is the only one under 24 inches wide, and its 17-1/2-inch depth leaves more room in front of a narrow bathroom. If you want the most usable basin, the Cadet’s 20-inch-wide bowl is the largest. If you want a taller sink or a rectangular look that matches a Boulevard toilet, choose the Boulevard; its 5-inch-deep bowl is the shallowest of the three, so check the faucet’s spout height and reach against it.

All three use the same kind of installation: the sink is mounted to the wall with its kit and the pedestal is set beneath it, so plan the wall support before the finish wall goes up. All three sheets list compliance with ASME A112.19.2 for vitreous china fixtures; the Boulevard sheet adds CSA B45.1.

Rough-in and wall support

All three sheets say the supply and trap locations shown are suggested, that the faucet and fittings are ordered separately, that anchor screws for the pedestal are not included, and that all wall supports need suitable reinforcement. The sinks hang on the wall and the pedestal hides the trap, so the drain and supplies need to come out of the wall within the pedestal’s outline. Our pedestal sink guide covers wall backing and rough-in, and our wall-hung sink guide covers sinks without a pedestal.

For a faucet to match, our American Standard bathroom faucet guide covers American Standard faucets, and our P-trap guide covers the 1-1/4-inch trap these sinks use.
