Choose the Memoirs Stately K-2268-8 for the widest top and deepest bowl, if the wall is at least 31 inches wide. Choose the Memoirs Classic K-2238-4 for a 4-inch centerset faucet. Kohler’s spec sheet (resources.kohler.com) lists a combination of the K-2239-4 basin and K-2267 pedestal, a fireclay rectangular basin with an overflow and three faucet holes on 4-inch centers. The drawing shows the top 24-3/16 inches wide and 19-7/8 inches deep, the rim 34-3/8 inches high, a 15 by 13-inch bowl and a 4-1/2-inch water depth.
One detail to check: this sheet lists 1-1/4-inch faucet holes, smaller than the 1-3/8-inch holes on the other three. Check the shank size of your centerset faucet before you buy.

Check these before you order
- Faucet holes. Match the faucet to the drilling: widespread 8-inch (K-2268-8, K-2359-8), single hole (K-2344-1) or 4-inch centerset (K-2238-4).
- Wall width. Allow room on each side of the top: about 31 inches for the 30-inch Memoirs and about 24-1/2 inches for the others.
- Wall blocking. The drawings show mounting holes in the basin and pedestal. Kohler lists a 1041816 hollow-wall hardware kit as an option for the Memoirs Stately 30; plan backing in the wall before the drywall goes up if you can.
- Plumbing hidden behind the pedestal. The drawings place the 3/8-inch supplies 4 inches apart and close to the drain line so the pedestal can hide them. Rough-in locations differ slightly by model, so use the drawing for your exact model.
Rough-in heights from the drawings
Pedestal sinks hide the drain and supplies behind a narrow column, so the pipes in the wall need to sit where the drawing puts them. Measured down from the sink rim, the drawings show the drain line at about 14-3/8 inches for a pop-up drain (13-1/2 inches for a grid drain) on the Memoirs Stately K-2268-8, and 13-5/8 inches (12-3/4 inches for a grid drain) on the Memoirs Classic K-2238-4.
The Memoirs Stately K-2344-1 drawing shows 14-1/4 inches to the supply and drain line, and the Archer K-2359-8 shows 13-13/16 inches. All four put the 3/8-inch hot and cold supplies 4 inches apart. Because the rim heights also differ, the floor-to-drain height changes from model to model. If you are replacing an old pedestal sink, compare your existing pipe heights with the drawing for the model you want before you order. On a remodel with open walls, set the drain and supplies to the drawing first.

Fireclay or vitreous china?
Three of these are fireclay and the Archer is vitreous china. Both are glazed ceramic. Kohler lists them under the same codes on these sheets, ASME A112.19.2/CSA B45.1. The sheets do not compare strength or weight, so we do not either. In practice the choice here comes down to size, faucet drilling and which collection matches your toilet and bath pieces.
